Resources & Crafting:
- Lapis added to cobblestone generators and world generation for blue dye.
- Green dye craftable by combining blue + yellow.
- Black dye craftable using coal.
- Lard added, drops from zombies.
- Lard usable to craft candles.
- Candle crafting fully functional using lard.
Tools & Equipment:
- Golden axe, shovel, and hoe removed as they were useless.
- Golden pickaxe and sword remain with special attributes and buffed durability (320).
- Golden sword now has +3 armor shred, allowing it to hit through armor.
- Golden pickaxe has reduced mining speed (5), comes with Fortune, and mines at iron level.
- Durability for all tools now follows a Fibonacci-like progression starting from 64:
- Wood: 128
- Copper: 192
- Gold: 320
- Iron: 512
- Diamond: 812
Gameplay & Environment:
- Mobs no longer despawn in pens.
- Pillagers, zombie villagers, wandering traders, and llamas no longer spawn. (werent supposed to)
- Removed annoying update notice from a mod.
- Crafting performance improved via HashMap optimizations.
- All ores can now appear in cobblestone generators (extremely rare).
- Pistons re-added for basic redstone functionality.
Mob Tweaks:
- Zombies are now tougher, 27 HP, drop lard (rare, always 2).
- Skeletons have 13 HP.
- Spiders are faster and scarier: can step up full blocks and 0.38 speed.
- Creepers are slower, 0.225 speed, and drop all tiles when exploding.
Hazards & Player Interaction:
- Spike block added, craftable with coal blocks and iron ingots (new hazard element).
- Nametags only visible when directly looking at another player.
- Oil lamps added. Holding one gives a bright spectral glow effect so friends can see you through walls.
Planned / Future Features:
- Lard may be used for soap in a future update.
