Therizinosaur Lore:
Originally a herbivore, the Therizinosaur was altered in a scientific experiment to make it more aggressive for entertainment purposes. This backfired when it escaped, hunting down the scientists involved. Now, it’s your mission to stop this dangerous creature once and for all. Good luck!
Avoiding the Therizinosaur:
When the Therizinosaur enters your area, it will search for you but has poor vision. To avoid detection, you must stay completely silent—avoid attacking, eating, breaking or placing blocks, and most importantly, always crouch. If you stand up, it will spot and chase you. While it isn’t blind, its vision is weak, so it relies mostly on sound and movement. Staying crouched is the best way to evade it, though distance can help reduce noise detection.
How to Fight It:
The Therizinosaur is immune to melee attacks, arrows, explosions, and even defeats iron golems easily. However, its feathered body is highly flammable. Carry flint and steel to set it on fire—though it can navigate around flames, so timing is key. Once lit, it pauses briefly in a "hurt" animation, giving you a chance to escape or plan another attack. (Note: Lava does not kill it.)
BUT FEAR NOT
As you travel the lands full of structures (ChoiceTheorem's Overhauled Village, Towns and Towers, Valhesia Structures) to loot and gear yourself up to face the lizard, you can craft GUNS from the TACZ mod!
