The Hub Pack Overview The Hub Pack is a modpack orientated towards players who aim to have more a challening experience whilst keeping a good balance between reward and difficulty. This is a modpack which I had originally created to play with friends however I have decided to share it with the community as we had found it quite fun both playing and creating it. This pack will constantly come out with new updates to add to the experience as well as config altercations to ensure the game is as balanced as it can be however if you ever dislike an update you can always revert to an older version of the pack through the versions option within the Twitch launcher. This modpack is much more orientated towards the PVE side as opposed on focusing towards PVP as other mods tend to go with however with the flexability with the mods inside this can easily be altered to have an equally as fun PVP experienced with mods such as Tinkers. The main mod in the pack is Lycanites which increases the mobs within the world. It also adds world events which are triggered through different player driven acts. This mod however is quite intensive so it is highly advised you alter the config to ensure that you scale up the mod to fit your server constraints. This modpack is orientated towards 1.12.2 and uses a variety of ports of mods to allow for the use of older mods such as BuildCraft to be used to give players more to do. Build castles, Become a monster, Hone magic upon your enemies or simply experience it all with friends - the Hub modpack gives you all of this compacted in one. We believe that everyone is entitled to the best modded experience when looking out for packs and hence why I have decided to release this collection of mods which me and my friends had decided on. This is a great pack to start modding if it is your first time and a great pack even for veterans as it offers the best of both worlds when it comes to modded minecraft.
Features: - Lycanites Mobs: This mob offers a massive mob addition to Minecraft and has them spawn in there natural habitat. It works with multiple world events which are triggered by the user and also gives users the ability to summon these mobs as there own tamed pets when they have gathered enough experience points. This offers a challenge to users when it comes to exploring the world however in exchange with enough research on a mob you can tame it and have it work under your will.
- ProjectE: This is a mod which gives values to different ores and makes any blocks with an assigned EMC craftable if you are able to gather enough EMC equivalent. This offers users the ability to skip mods that they dislike by gathering EMC equivalent and crafting an item. This mod is great for users who like gathering resources which they never tend to use as it gives everything a value. This version has multiple prior exploits patched which were known to ruin the economy of games.
- Tinkers: This is a mod which adds a large variety of blocks as well as multi-block structures which allow users to easily forge materials as well as their own customized weapons and armor. Ever wanted to have your own sword made of 5 different resources? Well Tinkers gives the player just this; create weapons which have their own individual traits as well as customized names chosen by you.
- RailCraft: This mod offers players a completely revamped method of transport allowing you to create your own trains and trainlines which can easily be expanded on. This uses world generation to create RailCraft blocks which are found in Mineshafts. Create lines which join together bases
- Wizardry & Thaumcraft - This mod offers users the ability to create their own spells using different magical related items generated in the world. These can then be transferred in a variety of different spells which the user can cast on both themselves as well as mobs and other players within the world.
- Galacticacraft: This mod allows the construction of rockets to visit other planets and space stations, credit to Micdoodle for this amazing mod!
Other Unlike most mod packs, I have decided due to the Lycanites adding quite a few mobs which increase the difficulty significantly that this modpack is best played with keepinventoy on without the use of gravestones.
