A small tech based space modpack

Description

SPACE, The FINAL FRONTIER, The V O I D (not in game void).

 

Whatever you may call it, that place high up past the sky is the main goal of the modpack.

This pack mainly focuses on advancing yourself through a variety of tech mods to become whatever you want to be.

You might also get some nice boosts through various mods that add in little items to empower you such as Artifacts and Inventory Pets.

 

If you find any bugs or have any recommendations for mods/config changes I can include, please write them in the comments below :)


I recommend to use Optifine with this modpack, but it is definitely not a requirement.

FTB Questing and Quest Additions -

Created a new OPTIONAL game mode called the 256 Achievement Variant, or 256ACH for short.

The rules are as follows:

Click on the book icon in the top right of your inventory screen.

Then click on the check mark icon named "Beginning the Challenge" and claim the reward.

This reward will set your world border to 256 chunks.


Everytime a player/group completes a quest(interchangeable with achievement), the reward will be an increase to the world border by 256.


If in single player, then a chunk of the requirement for completing achievements are honor based.

You can lie and claim them to increase your world border, but then you would be a cheater.


If in multiplayer, the server host/admins can look at evidence of certain achievement's completions.
These can be in game, photo/video proof, or peer confirmations.

The names of the quest are made to be given out as cosmetic discord roles to the first person/group who completes them.
(AKA they have nice names like Netherite Nerd or DJ).

There are 35 quest in total, and some are biome specific.

I am currently figuring out the best way to tackle not locking people out of completing all the achievements.

Added 10 quest, and I added a end game. Reach 100 days and click the checkmark to set the worldborder to the maximum distance.

This is also a way to counteract the possibility of being locked out of completing the game because of biome specific
achievements. I also changed some names and flavor text for previous quest.

Changed the atomospheric collection quest name to "Good Vibes" to better fit the naming scheme of quest.

Added 15 Lore Rewards to 15 quest chosen by a random number generator. Ultimately building the story of the modpack.

Removed MCA villager names.

No destiny on launch up.

type "/mca destiny" to access your destiny.

You do not have the ability to choose a starting location (to keep your spawn at 0 0)

Feline now has Water Aversion.

Added full compatibility with Alex's Mobs in regard to the meat tag.

Quark -

Turned off totems of holding.

Turned off realistic world gen, using terraforged instead.

#How many blocks to search vertically from a position before trying to place a block. Higher means you'll get more
boxes in open spaces. Decreased from 6 to 3.

All quark stone variants had their clusters turned from 33 to 22 to allow for less annoyance when looking for stone.

Turned off axe leaf harvesting cause of fast leaf decay and hoes.

Turned off compasses working everwhere. I like that they mess up in other dimensions.

Turned off poisonous potato usage.

Turned off lava bucket as trash because of an actual trash slot.

Disabled Color runes bcs they don't work with optifine.

Savage and Ravage -

Illagers do not give you bad omen when killed. You must place their banner and burn it using flint and steel instead.

Simply Mob Origins:

Removed Ghast Origin (to not conflict with Ghastling origin).

Removed Netherspawn from piglin rogue, changed it's name to just piglin and changed it's description to fit lore.

TooManyOrigins:

The Hare's Bunny hop meter now only takes 24 seconds to fill instead of 30.

Photophobia's "can't sleep" message changed to fit with theming.

Photophobia's light level requirements must now be less than 5 instead of less than 10.

Gave the dragonborn a new nerf called Heavy Stature which makes it have a -.1 speed.
