Welcome to a new exciting experience ! In Hostile Horizons, you will enter a vast world , as vast as full of ennemies, and treasures !
This modpack will get you into a colorful world, allowing you to lay hands on items giving you powers only ment for the greatest, but will you be worthy ?
Here are some main features from this modpack:
1 - Numerous structures and new mobs
Explore a world very rich and lively. Be really careful tho, a little girl crying may not be what it seem...
2 - Progression system and useful jobs
No innate class that get you overpowered from the start : You will have to work your way to success, and so will your ennemies.
The ennemies are tough : The more you survive, the stronger they are. They will gain special bonuses that range from small health boost to immortality. Luckily, you are ingenious, and you have the tools to break even immortality!
Enjoy two skill trees, boosting your basic Minecraft functions , but also allowing huge bonuses if you choose to specify yourself in certain fields, :
Blasmithing - Make armors and weapons significantly stronger than anyone else.
The skill tree from Passive Skill Tree (innate stats) , Silent Gear (modular equipement, tools and weapons) and Apotheosis (Items affixes ) will be sure to make you spend hours to make THE masterpieces your friends will want at all costs !
Alchemist - I'm gona brew random stuff so you can drink it.
The skill tree from Passive Skill Tree (innate stats),Mystic potions and Potion Masters and Apotheosis will allow you to mix weird things together. That way, you can either make huge buffs for your teammates, or brew things to throw at you ennemies ! (Potions can be mixed with foods thanks to Brew'N Chew)
Cooking - Eat up son, it's good for you health !
The skill tree from Passive Skill Tree (innate stats), Slice of life and Delight mods will allow you to cook a huge variety of food. Each new food has a chance of adding more hearts, and bonus effects like instant healing or damage bonuses !(Potions can be mixed with foods thanks to Brew'N Chew)
Enchanters - Bro, my exp points !
The skill tree from Passive Skill Tree (innate stats), Apotheosis allow for in-depth enchant with A LOT of levels to all enchants. The question is, who killed you, and how can he repay you your lost exp ? (And why are we out of Lapis again ?)
Fisherman - Wait, why didnt I fish earlier ?
The skill tree from Passive Skill Tree (innate stats) and Aquaculture are gona make your fishing sessions A LOT more valuable. Fish for treasure chests, why bother mining ?
Adventurer - A base ? I don't know that pixelmon.
The skill tree from Passive Skill Tree (innate stats) will boost your drop chances and chests loot : Good timing in a world filled to the brim with dungeons and valuable loot ! (I honnestly added a lot of generation mod,blast yourself!)
Here are some other specifications almost unnafected by the skill tree:
Engineer - I'm gona use that intricate mod , get a headache and still love that.
Sky Valkyrie (equivalent of Archimede's ships) and Create will allow your imagination and love of math to run wild. Zepplins, Trains, anything that has a cog and can be moving can be created ! Only limit is your brain heat capacity!
Mage - I'm Wizo, the Wizard ! Bow to me !
Several schools of Magic are here for you to enjoy! Ars nouveau and his Utility effects, Iron's n Spellbooks and his powerful spells and finally Botania and its....flowers ? Whatever the needs, Magic will always be your answers! (Muscles are a lie) ( You can infuse Ars spells that will trigger automatically into armor and tools thanks to Ars Artifices)
3 - There's never enough equipements
You've never seen that many Curios slots right ?
5 first slots ( L2 Artifacts) - Artifacts sets with random stats that can boost most of your stats and give you cool passives ! Make your power go over 9000 !
Rings / Bracelets / Qivers - Get some cool passives from your local smith with Silent Gear accessories and crafted Qivers !
Backpacks - The Good'ol Sophisticated Backpaks so you can store all your hardly worked for loot !
SpellBooks - Why have your Spell book in your hand when you can simply carry it on your belt ?
Charms - Add potion effects or difficulty modifiers to add a bit of flavor to your game !
All the rest - Find artifact all over the world to gain some useful passives that will save you and make your tip the balance in your favor !
Most of the artifacts here can recieve affixes from Apotheosis !
4 - But the game will get too easy right ?
HAH - you wish. Not gona spoil here, just know that the ennemis will be as strong as you, if not much stronger. One. Single. Skeleton. could be your end, never forget that.
There are also a lot of cool bosses from Cataclysm and a secret ship cemetery hidden somewhere cold. Add to that massive dungeons and monsters with unexpected mechanics and you shouldnt be bored anytime soon.
5 - And if I love suffering ?
Minecolonies is installed and working. I'm putting you up to the challenge to make a town and make it reach its finale stage more than 4 000 blocks away from the spawn. Alone. (If you do manage, well played tho!)
