A RPG modpack that heavily expands and reworks every part of Minecraft to create a playthrough that last longer than 2 weeks.

Description

Minecraft Version: 1.20.1

Forge Version: 47.2.20

Heavily Reflavoured is a RPG modpacks that has a heavy emphasis on exploration, fighting, cooking, building and aims to heavily reflavours the base game's progression. Think of Minecraft's base game as a normal unfrosted cake, and this modpack adds different layers of frosting to different segments of the cake, with each segment representing a part of Minecraft's gameplay that has it's flavour enhanced. But how so?

Progression Rework (Cheese Flavoured Cake Slice)
The early game in Heavily Reflavoured remains the same as Minecraft. However, what Heavily Reflavoured does to Minecraft's progression is extending it and adding more options. Netherite is no longer the strongest armour in town. Not only are there stronger options, but there are also sidegrades that are on par with Netherite but offer bonuses. Pick and choose whichever you like! No matter who you are and what playstyle you prefer, there is always an option for you!

On the other hand, the mid-game and end-game of Minecraft have been reworked. You can no longer activate a Nether Portal by using a Flint & Steel. You now have to find a Bottle of Dimensional Tears to activate it, which is dropped by a boss in the pack. There are guides within the pack that elaborate on this more. The way you get into the End has also been changed, requiring 12 unique eyes [End Remastered] that are dropped by specific bosses in order to activate the End Portal.

On top of that, entering the Nether will activate Expert Mode, and entering the End will activate Master Mode, which increases the health and damage of all mobs (except bosses) and enhances the behavior of certain mobs. Good luck~

Survival Rework (Raspberry Flavoured Cake Slice)
This pack adds tons of new decorations, crops, and most importantly, food! It includes Farmer's Delight and many of its addons to let you cook up a variety of delicious cuisine that you can also decorate with.

But you may ask, “Why should I bother with different foods? My stack of golden carrots will fill me up just fine!”

Well, eating the same thing throughout the entire game does work. The game doesn't punish you for it. However, you'll be missing out on a lot of benefits by not diversifying your diet. Each food has diversity points, and the more diversity points you have, the more health you’ll get. (You can craft a food book to monitor your diversity value.)

Combat Rework (Chocolate Flavoured Cake Slice)
This pack is mainly an RPG modpack, after all, so be prepared to fight a lot. It includes the Better Combat mod, which spices up the way you fight.

The pack also features two extensive skill trees. One grants combat perks and the other grants survival perks. These skill trees allow you to spec into different builds, with many branching paths that let you pick and choose any playstyle you like!

This modpack also adds 30+ new bosses, all awaiting your arrival. So pick up your weapons and prepare to fight. Without play, the knife grows dull~

Enchanting Rework (Elderberry Flavoured Cake Slice)
Heavily Reflavoured also heavily reflavours how enchanting works in Minecraft. Instead of clicking a button and pray to RNGesus for good enchants or making a trading hall. The Enchanting Table has been given the boot for the new Enchanting Altar!

Perform ritual with the correct material to craft the exact enchanted books you want! Any enchantments can be crafted! Including treasures enchantment. The better the enchantments, the more costly and specific the material requirement will be! So exploration is still incentivized.

However you may ask, since the enchant system now entirely relies on the anvil. Won't it be too expensive to enchant you gear? Well don't worry, XP costs no longer accumulates as harshly as it did in Vanilla. On top of that, the "Too Expensive Requirement" has been removed. To compensate for this rework, enchanted books can no longer be found in chests or be traded from villagers, librarian villagers only sell enchanting material now. However, items with random enchantment can still be found.

On top of all of these, Heavily Reflavoured also adds more enchantments into the game!
