What is The Hearthlands?

The Hearthlands is a custom-modded Minecraft survival server built around faction warfare, lore-driven quests, and a handcrafted fantasy world. This isn't just a server — it's a world to inhabit. Claim territory, forge alliances, master magic, and uncover the secrets buried beneath an ancient volcanic ruin called Cinderfall.

⚔️ Faction Conquest (Conquest Craft)

Form a faction and wage war for territory. Unlike traditional chunk-claiming systems, The Hearthlands uses Domain Blocks — a unique mechanic that lets you design and claim territories in creative, non-grid-based shapes. Only your faction members can interact with your claimed land. Grow your faction's reach, defend your borders, and compete for dominance on the server leaderboard.

📜 Lore Quests & Storytelling (FTB Quests + Custom NPCs)

The world has a history — and you're part of it. A handcrafted, linear quest system introduces you to the world's lore, its factions, and the mysteries surrounding Cinderfall. Custom NPCs scattered across the world give quests, expose backstory, and reward exploration. The narrative unfolds in two phases: Phase 1 draws you into the story; Phase 2 unlocks deeper gameplay progression.

🌋 Cinderfall — A Place of Power and Mystery

Built into the basalt cliffs and obsidian flows of Mount Ignis, Cinderfall is one of the world's most significant points of interest. It's a volcanic settlement steeped in ancient history — a place of danger, faction intrigue, and buried secrets. Explore its ruined districts, seek out its NPCs for quests and lore, and discover what stirs beneath the mountain. The next tribute is due in 27 years. The tremors have already begun.

🪄 Spell Crafting (Ars Nouveau)

Magic is real in The Hearthlands. Using Ars Nouveau, players craft custom spells from modular components — combining effects, shapes, and modifiers into unique abilities. Build a spell tome that fits your playstyle, establish a mage's tower, or found a magical academy.

🏰 Medieval Building (Conquest Reforged + More)

Build the castle you've always imagined. Conquest Reforged adds hundreds of medieval and fantasy building blocks — timber frames, stone roofs, arched windows, decorative walls, and more — giving your builds the visual depth they deserve. Pair with Macaw's Doors for authentic medieval entranceways.

🗡️ Combat & Armory (Spartanweaponry + Immersive Armors)

Vanilla combat isn't enough for a world at war. Spartanweaponry adds a full arsenal of medieval weapons — longswords, halberds, spears, and more — each with unique reach and attack patterns. Immersive Armors brings visual variety to protection, so your knight looks the part.

🌿 Fantasy Biomes (Biomesoplenty)

The world is massive and visually distinct. 18 hand-curated fantasy biomes are enabled — including Mystic Grove, Lavender Fields, Highland Moors, Jade Cliffs, Glowing Grotto, and more. Non-fantasy biomes have been turned off to keep the world thematically cohesive. Every corner of The Hearthlands feels like it belongs.

💰 Player Economy (Jobs Reborn + EssentialsX)

Earn money by playing. Mine, farm, fish, chop — Jobs Reborn pays you for activities you're already doing. Use your earnings to trade with other players, fund your faction, and build your empire. The economy is fully separate from faction leaderboards, so wealth and territory are distinct forms of power.
