Hazardous Industries it's a pretty deadly modpack, no joke. The aim was not to make it hard, but the result ended up to be similiar to RLCraft, even if multiple mob nerfs were made.

But as I said on the italian minecraft forum presenting the modpack "it's not a pain without gain!" (and yes, the official server was primarly made for italians but hey, you wish to join? you're welcome as well!)
[just remember that everything there it's pretty deadly]
The server name is Lycantropia, because the modpack coremod is Lycanites Mobs  indeed, plus, Hollowing Moon, which allow you to become a werewolf for real !

  

 

So, let's come to a brief modpack starting guide.

 

First tools? Do it through Tinkers Construct because vanilla tools are disabled by Tinkered Hegemony. First armor? Same stuff, do it through Construct's Armory. Your tools, weapons and armors level up with you as long as you repair them when broken, gaining new modifiers each level.

Don't worry about the materials for the first craft, you can change them later on the same exact item without losing anything.

Core mechanic of the modpack is the difficulty brought by Scaling Health.

Every mob killed increase the difficulty by 1 point, having 60% chance to drop an heart container to increase your HP. Every blight killed increase the difficulty by 10 points dropping between 7 and 13 heart containers. Every boss killed (ex. Whiter) increase the difficulty by 25, dropping between 9 and 21 heart containers. Every time you sleep you raise your difficulty by 5. Every block you travel from the spawnpoint you raise your difficulty by 0.005 (not much, trust me).

You can lower your difficulty by 100 if you're able to craft an Enchanted Heart (not something you can do immediately though).

Every now and then some Lycanites mob event may kick in, just stay safe until it's done, mobs will despawn within 2 minutes by the end of the event :)


For the rest I can just very suggest you to set your game difficulty to easy, because "normal" may turn out too difficult, meanwhile hard it's only for when you want to suffer for some reason...

If you still get performance issues consider to disable Better Foliage which is very resource intensive

 


ohw, I almost forgot... at least 3gb of ram is recommended to run the whole stuff, better to go with 4 just to be sure...
