It is Update Time with some Delay, I Present you Guardscraft 1.8 OVERHAUL
Basically a new Modpack with some essential inspiration from The Old Versions
Beta Users from 1.8 can update without Risk, but should consider updating their Serverconfig with the Defaultconfig as some changes only apply to new Worlds.

Users with Versions lower then 1.8 have to create a New World
-added Enchanting Desciption
-fixed RU Wood unusable
-you do not explode anymore when leveling UP
-added basic Questing
-Updated all Updatable Mods
-The Undead army does not bother you anymore
