Expert pack with GregTech and HBM’s NTM Extended [LEGACY]

Description

GregTech.

Yes, GregTech. The convoluted tech mod with hours of progression, thousands of recipes, and the paragon of tech mods.

Now, we take another (Not very popular) mod.

HBM’s Nuclear Tech Mod. Extended Edition. Yes, the funi nuke mod. Now, we combine the two. What does a nuke make, other than big boom? Fallout. So, GregTech Fallout.

This pack (My first pack so far) has a decent amount of challenge, (nothing GT:NH levels), but still hard enough to keep you playing for… Quite a while. Currently the pack is in Alpha, since one of the devs just left for some reason, so we weren’t able to finish it in time, but I’d say it’s still playable enough to make you enjoy it. Currently, as of 24 March 2024, The progression is complete till LuV Tier (with some slight exceptions) I believe this is the first modpack so far to use HBM’s and GregTech In a unifying way (Probably not right, but who cares)

Now, you may wonder what the progression is. It IS a semi-expert pack, so do expect some amounts of gating.

Steam Age and LV- You spawn in, collect some ores, smelt those ores, multiblocks, steam, Now what? No gaming?
You are incorrect. There is indeed a high quantity of gaming. Collect the AoA runes, go to the Shyrelands, and kill the boss Craexxeus. He dead? Take his statue and make some circuit boards. Boom, Now you’re LV. Make some Aluminium using an Electric Blast Furnace and you’re good to go.

MV- Do some minor trolling by launching yourself into space and collecting the remnants of meteorites. These meteorites do indeed assist in gaming, Mine them and make yourself a T2 rocket for Mars. Go there and MURDER the creeper boss, get the blueprint for the Astro Miner, and make yourself some yummy circuits. MV moment.

HV- Use some chemical baths to make a petal apothecary (gregification lvl 0.5+) and then use some botania sorcery to kill the Legal Guardian of Gaia. (You may be sued for assault) Collect its nose hairs and use them for some more circuits (Gaming level +999)

EV- Do some Thaum witchery to make a Voidseer’s pearl. As thaumcraft is beyond my scope of knowledge, I do NOT know anything about it, so sorry mr moddedmcer who is reading this with astonished and curious behaviour. Stuff that voidseer’s pearl In a crafting table for EV Circuit Boards.

IV- Tame a dragon (Sounds hella metal) make it shoot its flames at a dragon forge for dragonsteel, then plop an axe of dragonsteel in a crafting table to fashion yourself a Circuit board.

LuV, ZPM, UV- Not done yet, but HBM’s is accessible in its entirety after IV.

This modpack has some utility mods and underrated mods as well, like:

Cyberware
The Fifth World
InfinityRaft
Cyclic
Lost Infinity Stones
Industrial Renewal
Effortless Building
Lucraft
Random Things
Tough as Nails and Tough Expansion

And also, I forgot to mention; this pack’s endgame has the mod Lost Infinity Stones, which is an insane (like truly insane) puzzle/rpg mod whose armors and weapons can tank Sword Of The Cosmos’ hits and oneshot players in full endgame Avaritia armor. So yeah.

The end goal of this pack is to craft the Infinity Stones, and acquire Creative Mode by doing the infamous Snap.

The pack has been worked on endlessly for a month, please remember it’s still in Alpha, so earliest stage of development, and it isn’t as good as other GT Packs yet, so please wait.

[Discontinued]

Yes. I’m discontinuing this since the other devs decided to be very professional and kick me out. So I’m uploading the pack under a new name.

Try not to install the stolen version (Yggdrasil Fallout) the devs stole my modpack and reuploaded it under a “”new”” vision.

  • Iristhepianist's message -

hey. so I've been gone for a while now. I've finally made the first beta of the new GT:FA which I have named GT:QU or GT:FA Remastered. It focuses more on the survival aspect and also removes most of the mods I added that Bl00dbane0 wanted before he very professionally stole my project. I'm also adding way more survival mods and possibly adding TFC for extra early game challenge. GT:QU will also have apocalypse survival with ApocalypseCraft and GregTech integration and also a plethora of magic mods and other tech mods that extend the challenge a ton.

There is a new progression system that divides mods into 2 types and with new progression mechanics.

Magic- Now, how this works is that as you progress in Magic mods, once you reach a certain milestone, like getting a Pure Lily in botania or getting a Sentient Sword, It will make other magic mods easier. Like if you get Manasteel, you will be able to use it to craft Blood Magic slates for cheaper. This is called the Zealotry System. Now, there is also another side to it. Once you reach a certain milestone in a magic mod, it will make the recipes of a corresponding Tech mod harder. Like, if I get Elementium in Botania, other magic mod recipes will be easier to do, but at the same time, a corresponding tech mod like Mekanism for example will get harder. I'll try my best to explain it like a flow chart-

Get a Ethereal Slate from BM -> unlocks a recipe that will make Thaumium be able to be made using a Blood Altar

-> replaces the old recipe of IF's Machine Frames to require Ender IO Alloys as well.

Eventually, you will be able to craft special things known as Scrolls Of Enlightenment. These will be locked firmly behind Forgetten Items researching, and even if you discover the recipe, it will not be available till endgame magic mods. Though once you get one in your inventory, you will have to complete a Astral Sorcery ritual, and then All the recipes will be reverted again, and you'll be able to unlock all the tech mods while having all the magic mods. There is no catch. The recipe will be a VERY endgame thing though, so you'll have to complete everything in the Magic tier to unlock the Scrolls. (This includes LSS, so get ready.)

Tech- Tech is also based similar to the Zealotry System, but with a few changes. Tech mods will now be properly tiered instead of kitchen-sink, and GregTech will be the main gate of all Tech mods. As you progress throughout GregTech and other tech mods, Magic mods will slowly become unusable till they aren't usable at all. This system is called the Scientific Temperament system. The only way to revert this is by getting Research stations and you'll have to slowly and painfully research Magic mods till you can use them again.

You can also selectively unlock some mods over others after completing certain challenges. After you collect every ore throughout the solar system with GC you are able to make Quantum Alloy, which enables Thaumcraft again.

All of this will be done while saving yourself from zombies, the FBI, dragons, demons, and more while managing your thirst, skills, and hunger. Truly a Gregic experience.

GT:FA remastered still doesn't have like 95% of these features since I'm coding it alone with no extra help so help is appreciated.
Have a good one.
