🛠️ Grim Grit Update 1.3: "Ancient Horizons"

The 1.3 update is a massive expansion of the Grim Grit universe. We are moving beyond simple survival into a world of ancient civilizations, prehistoric threats, and a completely overhauled endgame.

⚔️ New Threats & Combat

  • Added: Mebahel’s Creatures (Draugr Invasion): Skyrim-style Draugrs now inhabit burial mounds. Includes a new Raid system and the "Draugr Overlord" boss with advanced AI.

  • Added: Born in Chaos: A significant injection of aggressive, high-detail undead mobs with unique abilities and equipment.

  • Added: Wan’s Ancient Beasts: Prehistoric creatures now roam the world. Use the expanded archaeology system to find eggs and resurrect beasts of the past.

  • Added: The Epic Knights Addon: Expanded the medieval arsenal with even more historically inspired armor and weaponry.

🏰 Civilizations & Progression

  • Added: MineColonies: You can now found and manage your own colony. Protect your citizens from the new 1.3 threats as you build a thriving kingdom.

  • Added: TheQuestForge: Introduced a formal questing system. Speak to Guild Masters and Villagers to accept tasks, track them in your Guild Book, and earn rare rewards.

  • Added: Grim Kingdoms: Massive castles and lost ruins have been added to the world-gen, providing high-tier loot and dangerous combat encounters.

  • Added: Capsule: Inspired by Dragon Ball, you can now capture entire structures or bases into capsules for easy transport.

🌌 Dimensional Overhaul

  • Added: Ends Phantasm: The End is no longer a wasteland. It now features vertical biomes, crystalline "Cirite" structures, and high-difficulty encounters.

  • Added: Nullscape: Overhauled the End's terrain generation to be more alien and imposing, perfectly complementing the new Phantasm content.

⚙️ Engine & Performance (The 1.3 Tech Stack)

  • Added: Sinytra Connector & Forgified Fabric API: This "bridge" allows us to run exclusive Fabric features on NeoForge, significantly expanding the pack's potential.

  • Added: Noisium & ThreadTweak: Optimized world-generation noise and CPU thread prioritization. This ensures your hardware stays stable while loading the new Grim Kingdoms and Structory towers.

  • Added: Debugify: Integrated over 100 fixes for vanilla bugs, ensuring a much more polished experience.

  • Added: Raised Sound Limit (Simplified): Pushed the audio engine to 1024 channels to prevent sound cutting out during intense dragon fights or crowded colony raids.

  • Removed: ImmediatelyFast: Swapped out due to instability with custom RPG HUD elements.

  • Refined: FerriteCore: Updated to the latest version to handle the increased memory load of the 1.3 mod list.

🎨 Immersion & QoL

  • Added: Eating Animations: Every meal is now visually represented, increasing the "Grit" of the survival experience.

  • Added: Dark Loading Screen: A cleaner, more thematic look for the initial game launch.


Developer Note: With the addition of MineColonies and TheQuestForge, Grim Grit is shifting from a "Sandbox Survival" into a "Living World RPG." Keep your sword sharp—the Draugrs are waiting.
