1. Core Engine & Performance

  • NeoForge Migration: Successfully moved the entire pack to NeoForge 1.21.1 for better stability and modern mod compatibility.

  • Optimization Suite: Integrated Sodium, ModernFix, and FerriteCore to maintain high performance despite the aggressive AI and creature counts.

  • Scrapped: Removed all 1.20.1 legacy dependencies.

2. Character Progression (The RPG Layer)

  • NEW: RPG Attribute System: Replaced old stat systems with a dedicated attribute GUI. Players can now invest points into:

    • Vitality: To survive the increased lethality of 1.21 mobs.

    • Attack Power/Speed: To effectively wield the new heavy weaponry.

    • Stamina: Integrated directly with the movement suite.

  • Gear Gating: High-tier materials (Diamond/Netherite) are now locked behind specific attribute levels to enforce a sense of progression.

3. Tactical Movement & Exploration

  • NEW: Small Ships: Added medieval sailing vessels (Cogs, Galleys, Brigs). This replaces standard boats as the primary method for bulk logistics and long-range travel.

  • NEW: Paragliders: Introduced high-altitude mobility. Requires Stamina (leveled via RPG Attributes) to stay airborne.

  • Navigation: Nature’s Compass and JourneyMap remain the core scouting tools for the new world.

4. Combat & Gear Overhaul

  • NEW: Epic Knights: Added a massive array of authentic 3D shields, plate armor, and polearms.

  • Magic: Ars Nouveau remains the sole magical system, serving as a "swiss-army knife" for utility and combat.

5. World & AI (The "Grit" Factor)

  • Intelligent Hostiles: Zombie Awareness and Improved Mobs have been tuned for 1.21.1. Mobs will now track players by blood/scent and break blocks to reach them.

  • Dimensional Depth: * Alex’s Caves: Overhauls the deep underground with massive, unique biomes.

    • BetterNether: A complete rework of the Nether to match the high-detail world-gen of the Overworld.

  • The Apex: Ice and Fire (Unofficial Port) brings dragons back into the world as the ultimate territorial threat.


6. Known Issues / Maintenance

  • AI Pathfinding: Monitor tick lag in dense forests; Zombie Awareness can be resource-heavy during night cycles.

  • Attribute Compatibility: Check attributes_config.json to ensure Epic Knights weaponry scales correctly with Attack Power
