Version 1.5.0 - The Parity Update

We're working to bring Galactica: Jurassic Edition more in line with Galactica, and this update brings a whole host of new content! We've also made some huge changes to performance of the modpack with this update! The below table shows the improvements to FPS between versions 1.4.0 and 1.5.0 of the modpack.

v1.4.0: 95 FPS (Standing), 40 FPS (Moving), 10 FPS (Farming)
v1.5.0: 105 FPS (Standing), 80 FPS (Moving), 45 FPS (Farming)

Device: 14” 2023 MacBook Pro (8GB M3) - Settings: Fancy Graphics, Fancy Clouds, Smooth Lighting Full, Particles All, Render Distance 12 - all values are estimates.

Galactica: Jurassic Edition 1.5.0 makes heavy changes to how the modpack generates and renders graphics and performs calculations in the background. Using external mods such as OptiFine is not recommended.

None - We’re aware of the update alert appearing for the Essential mod and are waiting for them to release an update to CurseForge.

= Some menu layouts have changed since the last version including Essential menus. You can change them back in settings if you'd prefer.
