Description
A pack with the main goal to explore the galaxy and build a self sustainable space station with Galacticraft and other mods that makes it a very enjoyable experience. There is a little for everyone but the pack focuses on tech with stuff like Industrial Foregoing, Computercraft and AE2 to help you thrive in all environments. With a plethora of powertools available for the people who want to shape the world into perfection. There are lots of ways to approach this kitchensink pack so it can be played either many different times or by a group with different playstyles which makes for a unique experience.
Though tech is definitely not everything with stuff like Botania, Bloodmagic, Astral Sorcery and Thaumcraft for the people who aren't into tech mods. The pack is very casual as most mods have been left in their original state with small differences in balancing etc, so it's quite a good pack for beginners to experience quite lightweight changes from vanilla if wanted. The Exception to this being TiC or Tinkers' Construct is a mandatory part of the early game, vanilla tools have been turned completely worthless and many of the early AIOTs have been removed. This pack, while easy to run is not so friendly on your CPU and memory when generating a world, It's recommended go with ATLEAST 8GB allocated memory and pre-generate a world if possible, especially for servers "/forge generate 0 0 0 100000" is recommened before starting.
Even though this is a kitchensink style pack many configs have been changed to maximize performance, de-clutter the world and to make sure early-game stuff isn't over way too fast. This will hopefully lead people to take new paths and explore mods they haven't played around with much aswell as encourage new players to pick up mods quicker.
If you have friends who wanna play but are mostly into building this pack is very friendly towards that, with a huge selection of biomes and mods like Chisel to help you build toegther the perfect home. A place where you can live and even talk through the in-game voicechat to your friends. Sadly mods like Carpentersblocks is no longer here as of v2.0.0 as the mod is in a deprecated state at this point and there is no alternative for 1.12.2. If massive performance issues occur while creating a world, it's recommended to remove BYG (Oh The Biomes You'll Go) and just go with BOP (Biomes o Plenty) as it hits the worldgen thread extremely hard in this version of minecraft and removing it, while removing biomes does help server thread performance.
