A modpack focusing on different gameplay balance and some more mobs

Description

Greater Atmosphere & Beauty

Pictures will be added at some point

A slew of 200+ mods focusing on deepening aspects of vanilla minecraft as a base, before adding more content.

Check out the tips further below for some ideas on what to do in this pack. But as a start, let me give you an idea on what to expect:

  • Experience new mob AI that requires a little more strategy to tackle,
  • Smoother combat with a rework of immunity frames and a sweet middle-ground of new and old attack systems
  • More challenging boss fights with changes to The Wither and The Ender Dragon (plus the Warden now has actual loot)
  • More tameable vanilla mobs together with pet respawning (Through new Pet Beds)
  • A cozy and immersive cooking experience with rewarding food systems and plenty of new dishes
  • More life in the oceans, new fishing equipment, and a drastic change to the fishing minigame
  • A way to pick up entities that lets you move your chests and animals around easily
  • Prettier weather and a livelier night sky
  • Light that follows you when you hold a torch or lantern (or other light-emitting items)
  • Improved vanilla-style player animations to make your multiplayer sessions more lively, and keybinds for sitting and crawling
  • Plenty of decorative blocks that don't clash with the regular Minecraft look
  • Many more animals, all with their own behaviour and interactions
  • A change to how animals spawn and respawn, so you don't accidentally make every cow or sheep in your area extinct
  • Slow but rewarding leveling, requiring you to perform the tasks that you want to level
  • Interesting structures to explore that combine multiple mods (while avoiding structure bloat)
  • Magic systems that require a lot of time to dig into, rewarding puzzle-solving prowess
  • Mythical mobs to fight and get legendary loot from, giving some incentive to gear up
  • A low-tech mod with a focus on physical mechanisms to make your farms and factories feel alive and fit into the world better, while opening up tons of more options in automation and building (and really cool train systems)
  • The ability to build contraptions that come to life with physics. Make your own truly custom cars and planes (I recommend looking up a tutorial for Clockwork to learn more)
  • And some more! A comprehensive mod list is below.

  • ChickensShed (Chickens passively shed feathers)
  • CleanSwingThroughGrass or Cut Through (Lets you hit mobs through blocks that break in one hit, such as grass.)
  • Combatify (Takes some getting used to with the extra reach on charged attacks but overall I find this mod to be a huge improvement to combat, as it makes combat just a little more varied)
  • Corpse (Keep items in a corpse where you died, also adds death history for if your items disappear somehow which is incredibly useful)
  • CrawlOnDemand (Or use Personality instead if you can. Adds a button that lets you crawl on command. Default is ‘left-alt’ but can be changed)
  • Diet (Promotes eating varied food, giving small buffs that you need to maintain. Not many penalties for not having a varied diet, and you can even turn them off completely)
  • Domestication Innovation
  • E4MC (A mod that lets you share an obscured public ip to open a LAN world to anyone. Safe and easy)
  • Easy Anvils (Some much needed balance adjustments to anvils. More reasonable XP costs for things and no limit to the xp costs for heavily modified items, among other things)

  • Elytra Slot (Adds a slot to put the elytra in, letting it be used alongside a chestplate)
  • End Remastered (You have to explore to find various eyes of ender for use in the end portal frame. Some are craftable and some are dropped by bosses so it’s not too bad)

  • Tax Free Levels (Adjusts enchanting and anvil costs to be more reasonable. Look the mod up)
  • This boat is MINE! (Shift + right-click a mob that’s in your boat to push it out. Works a little wonkily with CarryOn installed but no major issues arise)

  • Universal Bonemeal (So you can bonemeal things like cactus and sugarcane)
  • Universal Enchants (Frees up restrictions on enchantments for tools and weapons. Look up the mod page)

  • What is this structure (adds a simple command that identifies the structure you are near and tells you which mod it is from.)
  • Withering Heights (A rework of the Wither making it a more challenging boss while also making it easier to fight. Check the mod page)

    • Numismatics (Great for servers. This currency system can interact with redstone in some ways as well)
    • Power Loader (Balanced chunkloading. You can attach the loaders to train stations, so it’s perfect for sending trains off to distant farms to retrieve materials since everything will get loaded once the train arrives.)
    • Slice and Dice (Introduces irrigation and makes Farmer’s Delight interact better with Create)
    • Steam n Rails (Adds many more bogeys in different sizes and shapes, along with wide and thin tracks and tons more for those that like making trains)
