This pack is forgiving in the beginning if you mess up. If you don't get an extra sapling it's not the end of the world. You just need to think in a different dimension.
Deep beneath your feet there lies a whole world full of resources. The only problem is getting there safely.
Once there the game really begins with the end goal of rising to the End.
If your Nether surface generates flat regenerate the Nether.
Hints:
This pack can be 'completed' without falling to the Nether. All you need is wood and slimes!
Drops preserve your momentum. Fall down carefully.
Drops also have relative x,z cooridnates. For the Nether these are divided by 8.
Drop locations:
Overworld -> Nether: Drop to Y=0, Enter Nether at Y=140
Nether -> Overworld: Climb to Y=150, Enter Overworld at Y=20
Overworld -> End: Climb to Y=256, Enter End at Y=60
End -> Overworld: Drop to Y=0, Enter Overworld at Y=200
