It has been 3 years since you first received that cryptic message on your terminal. The message that changed things forever, and thrust you into a race across time and space against an adversary beyond comprehension, beyond understanding. Before you could even begin to piece together who sent the message, the connection closed, with a single message remaining on your terminal.

"Although the night has gone so long, and the light left us in everlasting darkness. This is not the end of your story. The sun will rise in the morning. with the light vanquishing the darkness once more. Until then, The higherups do not find it safe to bring you into our world once more. We will meet again, don't know where. Don't know when. But I know we will meet again some day." -----????
The message fades as the terminal bringing you into Framework Protocol renders itself inoperable.... with a simple error message: Server Not found.....

Was this the end of our story, the end of a journey across time and space????

It can't be... Not with everything you learned, all the people you met. The friends you made.

You pushed on the console, the terminal you had gotten so used to, had grown to cherish and slammed your hands on the keyboard in frustration... 

And yet the error message did not fade away.. 
And just as you were ready to shut the terminal off for good, another message shows up.

"That wasn't the nicest way to treat the equipment I gave you. I understand your frustration but this is not the end of the story I let you see."
The message disappears, to show a weird set of glyphs that seems to be counting down.

"See you soon. Player." 

That was 2 years ago now. Ever since that fateful day, the strange glyphs continued to count down. You searched all records you could find, the library, the museum, even the internet itself, and there was not a single instance of the glyphs across history. And so the terminal was placed in the depths of your closet, where it has remained to this day, silently counting away. 

The terminal has been mostly forgotten by you, but the forces on the other side, have never forgotten, and in the depths of your closet, it has finally, begun to power back on.
