We're getting straight to the point with this one, If you've been followeing the progress on my discord (linked down below) you already know whats coming, if you don't,

Here's the changelog for FNAF: The Longest Night v2.2


MAJOR LAYOUT CHANGES

  •   Map layout and name changes have occured in many places including the Staff Hall (Formerly called North hall), Office Hall (Formerly called East hall), Parts and service, Programming room, Back hall (formerly called south hall), Chica's laser tag (and its surrounding area) and Back office (to some degree). More places have also been properly labled with signage as well. I hope by introducing some of these visual changes it makes the layout a bit easier to understand, and a bit more consistant overall. Unfortunately, this has the side effect of the ingame map being inaccurate. This map will be replaced at a later date with a much nicer looking one.
  • Some camera placements have also been moved most notibly the Office hall, Parts and service, Back Hall, and Chica's laser tag
  • Hallway office generator has been moved back into the laser tag area of Chica's laser tag to keep the consistancy with the other generators.

    Cams, lures, and doors

    • Players now can earn remnant from luring animatronics to their prefered location. This means that there has been a MASSIVE overhaul to the way the luring mechanic works. Players can now only lure the animatronic to its prefered location once every 30 seconds, after that there's a cooldown, and then players either have to wait until the animatronic leaves the location or the animatronic teleports somewhere else.
    • A new safety feature has been installed on each of the office doors, now, Animatronics who try to enter into your office with you in it, will be force to wait a 3 second delay before they can enter. Players will also be notified when an animatronic is at the door, so that even if the player is in cams, they will know somthing is up.

      Bug fixes and stuff

    • Fixed "Lights Out" message appearing when it shouldnt
    • Changed closet doors properties so that players have to right click and drag to open and close them
    • Radial indicator is now more visable with a new icon (I may have forgotten to mention this in the last changelog but there is a radial indicator that shows you the direction of the entity that is currently targeting you)
    • Players will now expirience a slow and painful death If they stay in the vents too long (idk, maybe the vents are filled with moist black mold)
    • Re-added some very old vent locations near the Main Office
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) FIxed main menu screen textures not showing up
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) Tweaked visabilty of the backdrop of the outside of the pizzeria
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) Adjusted the durration of time between lightning strikes outside
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) Adjusted the size of the UI for the cams
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) Fixed some crates not spawning anything
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) Adjusted the size and color of the "lights out" message
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) A clock sound now plays every hour in each of the offices
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) Added a delay to prevent players from luring an animatronic after closing the door on them.
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) increased stamina recovery speed
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) Included nightmare animatronics in the new lure system 
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) Temporarly disabled the tutorial due to it being outdated.
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) Adjusted the amount of power the lure takes (before 3 now 5)
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) Adjusted the amount of Remnant needed to beat the game (before 64 now 80)
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) Slightly increased the chance of luring an animatronic (25% to 27%)
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) Slightly increased remnant yeild from lures (From 3 to 4)
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) Covered up some visible code from the entrance
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) Changed some dialogue at the house
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) Changed the game start messages to be more helpful
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) Increased grace period time (before 3 mins now 5)
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) Grace period only starts after game start messages end
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) Grace is now skippable from the inventory
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) withered foxy is now faster (before 0.3 now 0.4)
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) nightmare animatronics are now faster (before 0.3 now 0.4)
    • (2.2.1 HOTFIX) added message to charging receptacles.
