THANK YOU ALL FOR 2.7K DOWNLOADS AND BEYOND!!!
Your support is what keeps me going and seeing this dumb project I never thought would make a splash, do so well is an incredible feeling and I have been honored to work on this for as long as I have. But now, it is time to move on to bigger and better things. Development for FNAF: The Longest Night has ended. There's so much I want to do that I can't do because of the limitations of Minecraft, so plans have changed. The sequel to FNAF: The Longest Night will be created outside of CurseForge and the limitations of Minecraft as a whole. As easy as it would be for me to make it here, I love pushing myself into challenges and seeing what I can do, as an aspiring game developer I seek to create something anyone with a computer can play, which is why I'll be putting it on Gamejolt and will be made in Godot. Learning a new software is time-consuming, and so it will be a little while yet before I release anything playable, so if you are interested in getting updates on that progress, join the EXL Server.
-Farewell for now,
Chris
NEW IN 2.0
- Updated visuals of the start game room
- Added music to the start game room
- Added ingame Credits to the start game room
- Added maps to each Office (Finally)
- Renamed the hallways to match the orientation on which they appear on the new map in the offices (I never realized how weird it was for there to be a south hall and a north hall despite neither being located in the south or the north.)
- Made it VERY clear that you need to turn around at the beginning of the tutorial
- Changed default crouch keybind to "C"
- Added a search bar to make it easier to find specific keys to rebind
- Removed the "Enable narrator" screen that appears every time you download a new instance of the game
- Improved visibility of the game over screen's restart button
BUGS
- Fixed game not sending player to the win screen if they have more than 64 Remnant
- Changed default key bindings to prevent accidental sitting while being chased down (happened to me once...)
- Removed mod "Essential" cuz it was annoying me with its stupid update popups
- Fixed a brief moment where the sun could be seen before starting the game outside
- Ensured the jumpscare sound would play every time the player dies (Yes, sometimes jumpscare audio will layer, but I'm too tired to fix it)
