Five Guys

This modpack is intended for use on a private server between myself and my friends from work, but it has general audience appeal. While nothing about it is particularly innovative, I can proudly, and confidently say the mods I chose integrate with each other well and maintain the quality of a vanilla Minecraft game. At the end of the day it's really about expanding on the things we all love about the game. New incredible entities, weapons, armor, bobbles, and places to explore add hundreds of hours of gameplay to the infinite universe that is a Minecraft world.

In the future I plan on adding balance changes and custom questlines. 

Why did I curate this set of mods?

Many of the mods I chose to include came straight from my 1.16.5 modpack: RamanCraft. I believe Sisser by TheDanteChaos is essential for its unique ability to disable the grief effect of creeper explosions while maintaining other mob/world interactions. Other personal favorites include Better Invisibility by Purplicious_Cow_ which makes you truly invisible to mobs, other players, even yourself! Waystones by BlayTheNinth adds fast travel monoliths you can activate straight from your inventory with a configurable cooldown, range, and cost. You could even disable the inventory acces if you wanted to, but I left it on in the configuration for this pack. Other mods such as Guard Villagers by almightytallestred, More Mob Variants by nyuppo, and Naturalist by Starfish_Studios each add mobs to the world that look and feel like they could have come from Vanilla minecraft itself. They move naturally, add spice and variety to the exploration aspect adding longevity to your next Minecraft fixation. Not dissimilar to mods like Oreganized by Binome, Oh The Biomes We've Gone by AOCAWOL, or Bigger Trees which affect the environment in very much the same way.

I'm aware my descriptions aren't terribly interesting, but please bear with me here because I am highly passionate about the work I do here, and you might learn something important. My quality of life mods are some of the most important. Corpse by henhelmax creates a player corpse upon death which helps avoid the loss of items. The dafault key is "U" to check death history and find corpse coordinates. Enchantment Descriptions by DarkhaxDev adds descriptions to enchanting table rolls, the value of which is self-evident. Just Enough Items by mezz allows you to comb through all the items in the game as well as their relevant crafting recipes. Lootr by Noobanidus allows multiple people to open the same chest for personalized loot, Polymorph by TheIllusiveC4 lets you choose your desired craft on the off chance that two items share the same recipe where the alternative would be losing the the ability to craft one. Then there are the fun mods like Combat Roll by daedelus_dev which allows players to perfom evasive combat rolls, Dark Utilities by DarkhaxDev which gives you access to various traps you could practically hide in plain sight. Easy Villagers by henkelmax lets you put villagers in your inventory and carry around which I think is just delightful, and Supplementaries by MehVahdJukaar adds all sorts of little items to place and interact with. I am very proud of this pack. I didn't get much time to put it together, but with what I have experienced, I am confident that you and I will both have an incredible time playing with this pack.
