UPDATED TO MODPACK VERSION 1.2

Find treasure and befriend allies while horrors beyond comprehension track you down and haunt you! Modpack currently features From The Caves and The Anomaly as the primary threats, with Better Archeology, Alex's Caves and more to keep you exploring the depths and getting scared! Custom FTBQuests are also included to guide you through the main mods and to set the scene for the spooky entities that are out to get you.

This is my first ever modpack, so please let me know if you encounter any issues! Any bug reports are appreciated.

Story

You're an archeologist and treasure hunter, who has heard whispers of faraway lands that house lots of treasure and loot. However, nobody goes there due to the rumors of malevolent entities that haunt anyone who sets foot in the area. Good job your side hobby is paranormal investigation then, isn't it?

Investigate the Occult

Armed with your trusty camera (from the Exposure mod), the first order of business is to investigate and catalogue the rumors of demons to see what level of threat you're dealing with. Can't be THAT bad, right? Oh. It is that bad.

(Alongside From The Caves and, later on, The Anomaly, you may find other entities that are out to get you. They spawn on a rotating, random basis each day to avoid overwhelming the player with too much horror slop.)

Dig up Treasure

There's lots of ruins scattered about these lands, with fossils to dig up, rare items to find and chests to unlock. There's even some rare cave varieties to explore, not that you want to go down there while being stalked by these things...

Find Allies

With Alex's Caves and Alex's Mobs (with relevant questbook pages) there's no shortage of fun friends to make along the way, to give you some sense of security while being haunted by the demons. Giant T-Rex anyone? That should scare the demons away.
