Description
Do you want a challenging expirience, but you just don't like the premise of RLCraft? Than you came to the right place. Fantasycore is a modpack centered around looting, exploration and bossfights with a ton of elements ready to make you cry.
My idea while creating this modpack was to create an RPG-like experience, whlie still maintaining the core gameplay of minecraft. Mostly, i wanted to remove mindless grinding for resources and give a logical alternative to simple mining. With hundereds of new structures, 7 new dimensions and 35 bosses, i think i managed just that.
With completely remade game progression and need to explore more than usual, you'll never have a moment to just stand and breath. Thousands of new items and blocks can keep you entertained for a long time and the everscaling dificulty will force you to permanently progress. The main boss line consists of 14 bosses, with another 15 side bosses and 6 elite monsters to fight, all tracked in a custom quest line made to help you, but not to rule you. The world is yours to explore, and the quests let you do so without forcing you in specific actions.

Download Optifine. You'll need it. Here's the link http://adfoc.us/serve/sitelinks/?id=475250&url=http://optifine.net/adloadx?f=OptiFine_1.12.2_HD_U_F5.jar&x=144c
While tweaking settings, watch out for Dynamic Lights. Try not to turn them off, if it's not completely necessary. Also don't turn light level too high. Just for better experience overall.
Don't turn on Hardcore in world gen, there's an option in game to start a custom hardcore mode to better suit the needs of this modpack.
For world generation, i recommend using the Biomes'o planty preset, as it makes everything just so much better.
Expect the world to generate a little long. Don't loose your patience. In most cases, you can just alt+tab out of the game and do whatever you want. After that, all should run smooth and fast.
Disclaimer: Even with all possible optimization, this modpack is very resource heavy. Don't expect it to run on a low end PC. If you have troubles running this modpack, here are some ways to improve your ingame experience.
1. Pregenerate you world before you go in. You can do that by clicking the "preview" button in world gen and setting up a big enough scale and than letting the game set up your world before you go in. This is mostly needed for outerworld, as the rest of dimensions has much smaller performance impact. Trust me. It will save you a lot of time and ruined ingame experiences.
2. Turn down some quality settings. Just tone the game to your needs.
3. Remove Item physics mod. This can help if you're experiencing stutter while more items are dropped on the ground.
4. Turn off dynamic lights. Even though it's a very important function, as i recommend playing this modpack on lowest brightness, you can switch dynamic lights off to make the game run smoother.
For everyone, who wants to know the exact mod list, here you go. Also, thanks to all the amazing autors, as their work started this entire idea. I do not own any rights for these mods.:
