This is the LIGHT version of the main pack — meaning that I have removed all extra hostile mobs (baddies) & most hostile mob-related structures to make this modpack fall into line with a true cottage core experience.

Fantasy CottageCore - Light - This is the LIGHT version of the main pack — meaning that I have removed all extra hostile mobs & their mob-related structures to make this modpack fall into line with a true cottage core experience. The removal of these mods allows for a more serene:[cottage core] vibe when exploring & building. There are 550+ mods & 2300+ quests.

For the full version you can find it here: Fantasy CottageCore

For a list of the mods removed please see the end of this page.  I truly hope you enjoy this much more RELAXED version of Fantasy Cottage Core.

As stated previously in the original Fantasy Cottage Core, the theme of the pack is still the same: This is my interpretation of a Minecraft world in which natural elements, cooking, farming, magic, exploring, & building are key ingredients to creating a more relaxed type of game play. There are fantastical beings from Grimoire of Gaia & the Goblins Community! They may not be on the friendly side, but what an adventure awaits those who love to explore.

There is also gorgeous scenery such as Regions Unexplored, Dreamland Biomes, & Cherry Blossom Grotto, just to mention a few, and many collectibles to provide not only an aesthetic style of play but, also, help you to explore your creative & magical genius in Minecraft.

First & foremost, you will find a plethora of building materials (Copper & Tuff Backport, Rechiseled, & Macaw’s, etc.) including decor from Chipped, Beautify! & Woodworks - just to mention a few) for use when building your Minecraft home & beyond. You can even include villagers, as I have mods that aim to enhance not only your experience but the villager’s experience (Villager Comfort & Villager Names) as well.

While traveling your Minecraft lands, wildlife abounds not only in the physical form, but you can also listen to their calls. Allow your imagination to run wild… If you like to build for & home your pets, you are in luck with mods such as All Bark, All Bite, Bovines & Buttercups, Hedgehogs, Critters & Companions, & Ylf as well as so many more.

Speaking of traveling, let’s talk about how to fuel your exploring endeavors - FOOD! You can enjoy various cuisine from the easy to pick Berries & Cherries as well as Wild Berries to culinary delights such as various choices from the Delight’s mods & Let’s Do Bakery. To quench your thirst along the way, you can bring along Cozy Foods: Milk Tea or drinks from Let’s Do Vinery (not a complete list, of course).

There are many structure mods included to keep your travels interesting, such as AdoraBuild: Structures, Campsite Structures, & Natural Decor mod which provide the Minecraft world traveler with campsites (obviously) as well as houses & even castles to rest in along the way. Of course, you will also find Better Villages, ChoiceTheorem’s Villages, & other structures to explore.

Returning home is also quite easy with the use of Waystones as well as the ability to set home and even other magical ways to get back to your safe space with your newly found treasures & collectibles.

Do you enjoy collecting? Well, I’ve got you covered with the Plushie Mod, SSL’s Stuffed Doll, & Simple Decorations: Soft & Squishy

Let us not forget the magical aspect of a fantasy cottage core world! I have included not just light magic but a little bit of dark magic. I described this as fantasy cottage core due to my interpretation which is more of a shadowed-type aesthetic for me when creating my world of cottage core. So we have mods like Ars Nouveau (& its additions) as well as Malum, Primal Magick, & Occultism just to mention a few.

I know magic is not everyone’s style of play, so there are also various weapons & gear mods such as Diamethysts!, Useless Swords, & Upgraded Netherite

One last thing, don’t forget to visit several other dimensions including Hanew Village: The Little Dragon’s Village, The Undergarden, & The Aether along with a few others.

PS: To help you along your way, there are over 1500 quests with more to come.

I hope you enjoy this pack! It has taken me several months to collect these mods & make quests with a desire to provide a magical & creative Minecraft experience. I look forward to seeing your builds, travels, & collections! Please feel free to join our Discord.

One last thought: I did include Enigmatic Legacy just in case you wanted to play the pack with a higher level of difficulty. As far as adding a texture pack, I did not because I feel deciding on a texture pack is a personal preference. So, definitely add a texture pack that speaks to you & allows your experience to be even more fantasy cottage core-like. Good luck, and have fun! I look forward to seeing your creations!
