Welcome to Fable Quest
FableQuest is a Minecraft Modpack that is meant to challenge you. This is not your little brothers Minecraft. FableQuest is a Hardcore Role Playing Modpack. You will get mad, you will die. that is just a guarantee. What this has to offer you is something that will push you to progress. FableQuest takes place in the world of Valorien. There are mobs that will hunt you down, bosses that you will not defeat, unless your just one hell of a wizard harry. You have the choice of picking a Origin and Class when you join. Make sure to READ the descriptions as you can change origins and classes later, but that will come at a cost. When you spawn into Valorien, your will be at a place to make home. This new starter home and centralized base is known as the "Central Hub". Here you can sell your unused goods for coins to purchase items in the item shops ie. Armory Store, Food shop, Fishing Store, Mage store (the fifth element). DON'T forget to check out the "Central Hub Trading Center" where you can sell items you find in the world for coins; These items will change periodically. There is an Inn located upstairs in the Hub where you can claim a bed with your own diamond chest and key to lock your items away.
Some of main elements in this modpack is the Unique leveling system provided by levelz adding in optional jobs as well. We utilize an economy from the numismatic overhaul mod. This addition really helps balance out things and gives the ability for each player to have their own personal bank directly into their inventory. With your selected Origin and Class, you have abilities you can use. These abilities are vary based on YOUR set up. Even then you have further classes you can choose that are apart from the Origins addon. You can choose to be a Wizard, Paladin or a Priest. These are also unique and provide other nerfs to spells and attributes. This modpack is HARDCORE. Meaning you have to work for what you want.
Recommends by creator: The following is my recommendations to help your RPG experience. Set your Resource Packs to include "John Legacy" and Shaders "Complimentaryv4.6". Use the "SUPER RPG FONT" Resource Pack. Go to options menu and controls, spend time to go thru and change keybinds on anything your dont currently need or plan to use to "NOT BOUND" by hitting "ESC" button after clicking. If you dont you will think aspects of the game dont work. When really its a overlapping keybind with another. CHECK CHECK CHECK keybinds. There are so many and virtually not enough keys on keyboard for all of them. So rotate them out as you need them. This should be STEP 1.
