🚀 Recommended Settings & Performance

To ensure the best experience and prevent memory-related crashes or lag spikes, please follow these steps:

1. How to set your RAM and Arguments (CurseForge App)

  1. Open the CurseForge App.

  2. Click on the Gear Icon (Settings) in the bottom left corner.

  3. Select Minecraft from the sidebar.

  4. Scroll down to Java Settings.

  5. Find the Additional Arguments box at the very bottom and paste this exact line:

 
-Xmx8G -Xms2G -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:+DisableExplicitGC -XX:+AlwaysPreTouch

(Note: This command sets your game to 8GB of RAM. If you have a high-end PC with more than 16GB of system RAM, you can change -Xmx8G to -Xmx10G for even better performance.)

2. Essential In-Game Settings

  • Graphics: Set to Fancy or Fast (Avoid "Fabulous!" for better stability).

  • Render Distance: 6-8 chunks is the recommended "sweet spot".

  • Mipmap Levels: Set to OFF if you experience stuttering.

  • Entity Culling: Enabled by default (helps tremendously with performance in dungeons).
