On the tech side, Create (plus a full lineup of addons), Mekanism (with its advanced processing modules), and Applied Energistics (boosted with automation and storage expansions) give you everything you need to design crazy contraptions, massive factories, precision networks, or whatever wild engineering project you dream up. If it moves, spins, pumps, or processes, you can build it.
For magic fans, Ars Nouveau, Occultism, Botania, and their addons open the door to spellcraft, rituals, summons, magical automation, mystical tools, and plenty of late-game arcane toys. These integrate cleanly with the tech side, so you can mix magic and machinery without running into dead ends. Whether you want elegant utility spells or full-on cosmic power, the pack has you covered.
Combat gets a big upgrade too. Tetra and its extensions let you forge custom weapons piece-by-piece, while Better Combat smooths everything into fluid action. Combine that with boss and mob expansions like Mowzie’s Mobs, Ice and Fire, Bosses of Mass Destruction, Malum, and more, and you’ve got a world full of threats worth fighting and loot worth chasing.
Worldgen has been turned way up. Terralith, Alex’s Caves, Aquamirae, Ecologics, YUNG’s dungeons and structures, Moog’s worldbuilding, Tidal Towns, and a pile of biome decorators make exploration genuinely fun again. Pair that with upgraded visuals, enhanced particles, sound overhauls, seasons, immersive lighting, and shaders, and the world feels alive in a way vanilla never can.
Everything is blended seamlessly with tons of compatibility mods so progression between tech, magic, and combat feels natural and synergistic instead of disconnected. Recipes, gear, loot, automation paths—everything talks to everything Cross-mod compatibility and shared materials mean exploring one system pushes you forward in another, keeping the whole pack feeling unified rather than stitched together.
