Large and Dfficult Adventure Modpack! Inspired by packs like RLCRAFT and Infernal Origins. In Early Development.

Description

Large Adventure Focused Modpack! 
Features:

-Skill Requirements and Leveling


Each skill has 48 levels, which you progress through as you play.  The main reason the maximum levels are so high is to balance end game broken items like Dragonsteel and Everlasting Beef, for example.

I also plan to add a mod with unlockable "abilities" (similar to mods like Level Up! for 1.12) if I find a good candidate. Suggestions welcome.

-Powerful Bosses like Dragons, Infernals, and Bosses that Spawn in Structures


Here is an example.  Bosses include mobs from Cataclysm and Legendary Monsters so Far, with Dragons also being formidable bosses themselves. Blights are also present, and Infernals, as mentioned above.

Another big mob based difficulty mechanic is Zombie Scent Awareness, which causes zombies and skeletons(and their elemental variants) to spawn in and attack you when you are bleeding or have lost health.

 


-Added Early Game Difficulty, with mods like Reskillable and No Tree Punching




As you can see, Dynamic Trees are present as well as rocks, which both tie into early game progression.  Skill Requirements on Stone Tools also force you to use flint/wooden alternatives for at least the beginning stages of the game. as I felt like these tools never really get used.

Also, First Aid makes all stages of the game a pain.  There are a variety of healing items you can craft to help with your injuries, but natural regeneration via eating is completely disabled.



Don't worry though, as you can progressively upgrade your health throughout the game, via both Heart Crystals and reforges and enchantments.

-Tons of Structures!

Check the Images section for some of these, but the idea is that there are plenty of structures for both late and early game.  Battle Towers also have locational loot based on the biome, and can have special baubles depending on what biome you're in.

 


-A Wide Variety of Baubles 

These can be found in the world, but can also be crafted using different Essences.



For example, here are some of the available recipes for Aerial Essence:




Most essences are a 1% drop from the mob of their respective groups. For example, if a creature flies, it probably has a 1% chance to drop Aerial Essence.

-Multiple Reforging Systems to Power up your Gear



Apotheosis is the most important of the three, as it has the most complex reforging system involving gems and books and such.  However, you can also use the two additional reforge systems at an anvil.

-Scaling Difficulty

This is largely the work of Apotheosis and Majruz's Progressive Difficulty, as the game already starts out very tricky early game. However, the difficulty will become harder after reaching the Nether and End.


Other than that, I won't be super descriptive on this one, since this pack is early in development and I'm not really sure what direction it will take in the future.
