Essence Odyssey 0.2.4 — Dimensions & Aspects Chapter Rework & Registry Rename

Note: this is a breaking update. NeoForge has been updated, and some custom content in old saves will be lost.

The "Dimensions, Aspects and This World" chapter

• Reworked the quest card layout, so the chapter reads more symmetrical and tidier.
• Revised the descriptions of a number of quest cards, and added new ones.

Registry rename and other major changes

• Aspect fluids and quintessences (Mekanism chemicals) now use proper registry names. Fluids and chemicals already present in old saves will be lost and have to be crafted again.
• One secondary aspect, Aura, is renamed to Tide; its textures and names change with it.
• PackagedAuto and its addons were removed, replaced by Applied Extended Crafting, which does the job better.
• Removed the test structure "Packaged Nature Altar" and its custom blocks and recipes.
• Items, blocks, fluids and chemicals added by KubeJS will now be listed under Essence Odyssey as their source mod.
• NeoForge updated to 21.1.256.

Coming up

• The author is revising and expanding the worldbuilding. Version 0.2.5 will bring the dimension exploration chapter's questline and a reworked Chapter 2 — a tighter, more coherent story.
• Astral Sorcery and several of its addons will be joining Essence Odyssey. Thaumaturge, the modern port of Thaumcraft, has been evaluated and will not be added.
• Teaser: a brand-new pack cover, and a new title screen built with FancyMenu.

本源远征 0.2.4 —— 维度章重写与注册名规范化

注意：本次更新为破坏性更新，更新了NeoForge版本，并且旧存档里的部分自定义内容会失效。

「维度、要素与这个世界」章节改动

• 优化了任务卡片的排版，使得整体更加对称、美观。
• 修改与新增了部分任务卡片的描述。

注册名规范化及其他主要改动

• 要素流体与精粹（Mekanism 化学品）改用规范的注册名；旧存档里已存在的同类流体与化学品会失效，需要重新制取。
• 将一种二级要素「灵气」更改为「潮汐」，同步更换了材质及名称等。
• 移除了封包合成（PackagedAuto）及其附属，加入应用合成拓展（Applied Extended Crafting）作为更优替代品。
• 移除了测试结构“封装自然祭坛”及相应自定义方块、配方。
• 由kubejs自定义的一系列物品、方块、流体、化学品等的来源模组将统一显示为「Essence Odyssey」。
• NeoForge 升到 21.1.256。

预告

• 作者正在修订与完善世界观设定的相关内容，0.2.5版本将带来维度探索章的任务线，以及第二章任务的完善，届时将带来一个逻辑更为严密完善的故事。
• 星辉魔法（Astral Sorcery）及一系列附属即将加入本源远征。神秘时代的高版本复刻 Thaumaturge 经评估后决定不加入本源远征。
• 画饼：全新的整合包封面以及由FancyMenu制作的全新登录界面。
