🛠️ Changelog 1.1.4 - The Unification Update

This update introduces a complete overhaul of the resource system, fixing critical progression breaks and inventory management issues reported by the community.

⚙️ Global Resource Unification (Almost Unified)

  • 🔩 Total Ingot Standardization: * Implemented a master priority system for all metals. All ingots, raw ores, and dusts will now automatically unify into a single version when entering your inventory.
    • Steel Master: Standardized to Immersive Engineering.
    • Bronze Master: Standardized to Mekanism.
    • AllTheOres Cleanup: Lead, Silver, Tin, and Zinc now unify correctly to prevent recipe conflicts.
  • 🏷️ Tag-Based Recipes: * Refactored over 100+ recipes to use Forge Tags (#forge:ingots).
    • Fixed the "Bronze Conflict": XyCraft and other machines now correctly accept all bronze variants.
    • Fixed the "Steel Pressing" bug: Steel from any blast furnace can now be used in the Mechanical Press.

🛡️ Progression & Survival Balance

  • 🔨 Early Game Correction:
    • Stone Tools: Vanilla stone tool crafting has been disabled to ensure players follow the intended Flint → Copper progression.
    • Loot Table Overhaul: Removed high-tier gear (Iron Pickaxes, Diamonds, Steel) from Village and Dungeon chests to prevent Age-skipping.
  • ⚒️ Plate Manufacturing:
    • Unified the Pressing logic for both Create and Immersive Engineering.
    • Manual Steel Plates now require the IE Hammer and properly consume durability.

📜 Technical & Maintenance

  • 🧹 Script Consolidation: * Merged repetitive metallurgy scripts into a centralized data-driven system for better server performance.
    • Fixed several "Unknown Recipe Type" errors in the KubeJS console.
  • 📦 Mod Configuration: * Updated almostunified-common.toml with strict priority overrides for expert-tier materials (AllTheModium/Vibranium/Unobtainium).

Note: This update is essential for inventory stability. It is recommended to put your current ingots in a crafting grid to convert them to the new "Master" versions if they didn't unify automatically.
