Welcome to Ember Hollow a research based farming sim. Some of the prominent parts of the pack are.
-A profession system each profession is based around a concept example being the miner. He has a custom tool called the Miner's pickaxe this pickaxe gives more ore and xp when used. The Miner can also sell more types of ores compared to the other professions and also gets more for doing so There are many more professions in the pack being worked on constantly.
-A custom food system containing custom crafting stations, Custom tools used in the stations examples being the Slicing Knife when used in the Cutting Board station its chops vegetables into their sliced versions. Finished meals come in 4 qualities basic,silver,gold,diamond . Each tier gives more food and saturation than the last. This system is in contant development.
-A questbook progression tree. To unlock anything from tools,food,machines will have to be done through this book. The way you unlock stuff is the progression tree is a item called Research. There is multiple types of research varying from machine to food to mineral, Research can be obtained from a special type of quests calledDeep dives. These quests ask for resources similar to thier type of research. And you will also need coins which coins can be obtained from the shop within the questbook.
-A work in progress part of the pack is a artifact and gem system. This system will have the player search the world for artifacts and geodes. Geodes can be processed in a geodo cracker which gives random gems. These artifacts and gems will be used to complete collections which will give rewards for doing so.
This only scratching the surface of what the pack is and will be in the future. I am the sole dev so progress is slow but I intend to keep working on this for a long time as it's a long time idea.
