Edentech 4.0 Changelog - GrannyGreen
READ THIS BEFORE UPDATING.
This is a MAJOR update. I hope you will enjoy the changes!
FIRST BACKUP YOUR WORLD.
This update may break your world so make a backup before you update. Please read on.
I recommend starting a brand new world. If you decide not to restart you may have a problem logging into an existing world after the update. Here is what worked for me. BEFORE updating, enter your world and place ALL of your inventory into a chest for safekeeping. Then update and if you cannot log in, delete your playerdata files and restart the game (your inventory will be lost and you will enter the world at the original spawn point). This also applies to servers.

Mods Removed
Cavern II - I have seen some significant problems reported with this mod and it is not a vital component of Edentech so in the interests of stability I am removing it until things are sorted.
ChocoCraft - Replaced with ChocoCraft 3

Major Mods Added
Exotic Birds - Lovely mod. Adds to the immersion in Edentech. Go bird watching with your bird book, collect eggs and breed birds.
Lost Cities - I love this mod. So great for a post apocalyptic scenario. Rebuild and create a beautiful world. I don't recommend using it as your overworld generation though. It is now accessible as a separate dimension. Make a portal by placing two diamond blocks in the ground with a bed on top and surrounded by six skulls. Take another set of portal blocks with you to return. Or teleport back of course.

Minor Mod Updates
Several minor mod updates
One to note is that Storage Drawers now keep their inventory by default when broken.

Spawn rates on animal and bird mods are set low to avoid any lag problems and to encourage exploration.
Various other small config tweaks.
