Your actions have consequences, with penalties for deaths, and consequences for stealing from villagers, where, without the correct skills, these things become impossible without death. With known mods like Tinkers Forge, Ice and Fire Dragons, and a village to spawn into, the playthrough experience should follow exactly like an average DnD encounter, without the bias of a DM leading your story.
