Extreme Sound Muffler

  • Some sounds in the boss_tools dimensions are bugged, particularly looping sounds like the jackhammer and minigun barrel whine.
  • This mod doesn’t fix the bug of making sound stack over themselves, but being able to muffle these particular sounds makes it tolerable at least.

Added a new boss event: Uber Wither

Increased maximum instability from 1000 to 5000

  • Voiding gear is never fun or fair, in my opinion. I would completely turn this off if I could. Corruption is almost never worth it for the reason that it almost always voids your gear. At worst it should just provide a completely useless affix, like in PoE, but sorry, I can't do anything about it.

Mob essences can no longer be applied in boss dungeons.

Added a special attack to the Ender Dragon fight

Added a new standard dungeon pylon - Spawns a boss rarity mob

Decreased projectile amount of AA-12 from 12 to 6.

Added tooltips to all guns that fire more than 1 projectile

Changed pulverizer recipes for thermal_extra ores

Changed uses of ingredients that were used for gear crafting. Crafting gear is no longer possible.

Professions for Mine and Slash have been overhauled.

  • Jewelcrafting, armorcrafting, and weaponcrafting skills have been changed to Mining, Farming, and Exploration skills.
  • These skills are tracked and leveled through Pufferfish's Skills. Each skill has it's own tree.
  • Mining stone and ores give mining experience.
  • Harvesting crops (only by breaking, not right clicking sorry) gives farming experience. Use crops or animal drops to craft Agri-Research Kits, which also give farming experience when consumed.
  • Exploration experience is gained by using Explorer's Journals. These can be found in any loot chest.

Fixed issues where chest loot didn't spawn correctly (in villages)

  • I eventually understood what I did wrong with placing loot chests in structures and then saving them, which led to two different loot chests sharing the same contents. The fix could've been easy but since my building instance had Lootr in it, and crashed the game when I removed it, I decided to keep it in there and place loot chests through a data block with my mod, the same way moon dungeon loot was fixed in the last patch. It's a dumb workaround, but it works. :)

Fixed even more issues where mobs don't spawn correctly in boss dungeons (i'm dumb)

Added a separate room for vending machines in standard dungeons

Fixed issues with activating keys in the left hand

Reduced amount of mobs that spawn in trial dungeons

  • I messed this up pretty bad, so I am reverting it until I redo trials.

Adjusted loot tables

Hunting Logs have been removed for now. I like the idea, but I can't think of anything cool to do with them. This modpack also showers you with loot at every opportunity, so it's not justifiable to look for them or do them unfortunately. I'll try to find ways to improve them or make them exciting in the future, but for now I can't be bothered.

Endless dungeons have been completely removed. I had a lot of fun making it and learning from it, but I was never happy with the final product. It is now the 3rd time remaking it, so I decided to remove it and come back when I have new ideas.

As always, I broke a ton of stuff with this update so a new world is recommended.
