Dragon Survival with several addons that add additional species, lets you play as a dragon. You are meant to spend time exploring, taking home treasure and explore some more.
With Create, you can build your own factory and make contraptions. Iron's Spells and Spellbooks allow you to learn magic not native to your species (Or at all if you're human :P).
The Undergarden needs taming, and Eternal Starlight will be great for endgame.
Oh, and questbook should help you figure out your way.

Disclaimer: WIP modpack. Will be filling out more quests as I update. Recommended adding a grief protection mod. You could use FTBChunks for it. Mainly for a private server I run, tho I'd love to see others enjoy. Recommending to not fight the ender dragon as per Dragon Survival's usual gameplay.
