Dominion

Dominion is a modpack for a match between two teams. Each team has its own deity: Liok and Rodon. The modpack is based on magical mods, where recipes make you develop all mods.

Lore

In former times, when our world just has appeared, in times, when the sun shone brighter and storms raged desperately, the planet prospered peacefully. The Keepers of the World defended the order using an ancient relic — The Shield. It consisted of three powerful swords: the Sword of Water, the Sword of Earth and the Sword of Air.  Nothing is eternal. While people developed the new world, the gods were at war. The heavenly throne had no leader. The preates to occupy it were Rodon, the patron of the art of war, and Liok, the keeper of the magical knowledge. People decided to support their gods and divided into two fractions. Some thought that the pantheon must be headed by a great warrior, some thought that the throne has to go to smarter and wiser one and any threat can be suppresed by the dark magic.  Other gods understood the situation and constructed a world, where the followers of their gods would be able to compete. Rodon and Liok endowed their teams with special abilities.  So began the standoff of two teams to resolve the heavenly dispute...

Progression Design

Progression by the mods is structured: 

• Astral Sorcery Lenses are made of Alfglass from Botania, 
• Thaumometer and Goggles of Revealing need some Dawnstone to be crafted, 
• XNet stuff needs empowered crystals from Actually Additions and Immersive Engineering components, 
• even kitchenware of Pam's Harvestcraft needs steel that forged in Blast Furnace ony.
