EVOLUTION | 0.1.3

During the early access development phase of Distant Worlds, the updates will be released in several modules. The Evolution module includes the necessary files and mods for the new definitive Distant Worlds experience. You can change between modules at will by switching versions; downloading the pack and/or updating it will give you whatever the latest-updated module is.

 

LIST OF CHANGES

  • Added the Tips, In Control!, Underground Biomes, AmbientSounds 5, Cherished Worlds, WaterSkin, The One Probe, Sound Filters and Tough as Nails mods
    Removed the ESSENTIAL, Hwyla, and Bad Mobs mods
  • You now have to manage your thirst meter
  • The loading screen now displays useful tips
  • Added several new recipes and tweaked others to improve the progression
  • Several minor texture tweaks
  • Vastly improved cave generation with several new biomes
  • Gelida trees generate in the Raised Snowlands biome once again
  • Glow Squids can now occasionally spawn in the oceans
  • Removed certain lang and texture tweaks that'll be reintroduced in the Varaxia's Galacticraft resource pack later on
  • Experimentation with smaller biome sizes
  • Modified the water color of the Overworld
