EVOLUTION | 0.1.1

During the early access development phase of Distant Worlds, the updates will be released in several modules. The Evolution module includes the necessary files and mods for the new definitive Distant Worlds experience. You can change between modules at will by switching versions; downloading the pack and/or updating it will give you whatever the latest-updated module is.

 

LIST OF CHANGES

  1. Added the Corpse, YUNG's Better Caves, Quit, Chunk Animator, and ESSENTIAL mods
  2. Revamped cave generation
  3. Fixed the bug where rain would appear instead of snow in the river biome
  4. All bodies of water are now covered in a thin layer of ice
  5. Added the Plant String, which you can gather from Gelida Leaves and use to craft Wool
  6. New recipes have been added and certain old ones have been redone to improve the game's progression
  7. Several wooden items and blocks have been retextured
  8. The silver ore has a new texture to fit with the surrounding stone
  9. Sparse tree trunks have been added to the Barren Snowlands biome
  10. Several minor main menu tweaks
