Discing is a 1.19 Vanilla+ modpack for fabric designed around collecting 100+ music discs from various mobs, structures, and recipes.
Experiment with new vanilla mechanics from carpet and more simple automation tools! Visit improved mansions from extended biomes! Dig rare and old valuables with Archaeology! Farm to your heart's desire with Farmer's delight! And explore and overhauled nether and end dimension!
The main goal of this pack is to keep the game feeling like you don't truly hit endgame for much longer. While not stuck in the early game, the player is meant to feel like everything they do is an accomplishment. From enchanting your first items to building a massive farm that automatically stores and crafts its items, everything is meant to feel effective while staying somewhat loyal to the vanilla experience.
Discing is a lightweight modpack, and only requires about 3GB of RAM, even in single-player. However it is intended to run on a server, and thus includes a proximity chat mod to facilitate the experience.
Once FTB Quests updates to 1.19, a guide for how to acquire each disc and an overview of crafting recipe changes will be made.
