Description
DingusPrime is a server-focused modpack designed to give you world's of capabilities without overwhelming you, overwhelming the server, or eventually reaching a point where there's no more challenges to be had.
This pack is focused primarily on the community aspects of play: exploring, building, and trading. We offer you a beautiful world full of unique treasures waiting to be found everywhere from dark and dangerous dungeons to beach-side bungalows. Satiate your green thumb with countless crops, flowers, cacti, and other plants that you can use for a variety of purposes. Join a server and open a restaurant! Load your harvest onto a freight train and send it into the city! Explore the Tinker's mod to become the best blacksmith in the land! And if you're an aspiring architect... You're in luck.
Hundreds of new materials, work stations, decorations, textures, patterns, and tools are at your disposal. Couple that expansive catalog with a mod like Framed Blocks and your possibilities are nearly limitless. Chisel apart blocks and use their bits to make your own furniture, decorations, or anything your imagination can think of.
We wanted this pack to feel like home whether you're starting your own community or joining ours. So in addition to all the things you CAN do it, it's worth mentioning some intentional exclusions. We want the world to feel small, intimate, and immersive - so there's no non-elytra flight and no teleportation (but we've got some VERY nice trains). We wanted everything to feel appropriately fantasy-themed, so expect to see waterwheels and windmills instead of nuclear reactors or solar panels. And, since we want people to specialize on one or two roles (builder, hunter, farmer, cook, engineer, lumberjack, etc) within their communities rather than simply automate everything; you'll find that there's no grindset that will eventually give you infinite anything -- instead trade with your neighbors!
These concessions both improve the sustainability of the community and the performance/reliability of the sever for which the pack is named (cause we've gotta keep this dingus running!) so we hope you're able to enjoy the pack to the fullest.
*Fun Fact, while we highly recommend and support the DankPods channel which inspired the name and theme(?) of this pack, we aren't affiliated with their channel.
