Welcome. This ain't a serious project of any sort, nothin' like Permafrost. Dicelounge is an exploration based modpack centered around the Origins mod, which allows you to pick a custom origin at the start of the game.

You'll laugh at your friend who picked merfolk when they realize that they can't go to the Nether without water-breathing potions. You'll do a whole lot of things! Wow!
