Description
Diamond in the Rough is a pack that doesn't quite know what to do - it's a blend of technological industrialisation with the Create Mod, magical automation with Ars Noveau, and simple progression with mods like Farmer's Delight and Vampirism.
- Each mod is integrated with each other in such a way that makes it easy to jump from one mod to the next, or to progress through all of them in a balanced manner. Use Create machines to grow and prepare food, whether for human consumption or otherwise. Use Ars Noveau spells to automate the summoning of demonic spirits, either to bargain with or enlist to help around.
- The pack is made with multiplayer support in mind. Either host your own world with Essential or set up a server, and have fun playing with your friends. Nametags are disabled, so figuring out who's who isn't as easy, adding a fun twist to multiplayer.
- We wouldn't say this game is hard; that said, it's by no means easy. Serene Seasons' winters can easily disrupt your farms, and there are many powerful creatures roaming around, waiting to attack. Plus, if you die three times, you'll have to wait until the next day to come back online. Be careful out there!
- Builders, rejoice! Not only do you have access to Rechiseled and Chipped's blocks, along with the block palettes from mods like Create and Vampirism, but you also have access to a player-made catalogue of custom-model furnishings through Immersive Furniture.
- Performance was a large factor in the construction of our pack - as such, the pack should run smoothly even on low-end computers, thanks to performance mods such as Modern Fix and Sodium. This means you'll have plenty of memory left for high framerates, or maybe a shader pack through Iris.
We hope you have fun playing our pack! Here's some pictures to give you a good idea of what it looks like!
