- Removed several items: Magic Mirror, Roller Skates, Concentration Amulet, Contained Remnant, Tampered Remnant, Feeding upgrades, Alchemy upgrades, Monster Flesh, Smoked Monster Flesh, stack upgrades (backpacks only), and unused rarity materials (Artifact, Heirloom, Esoteric)
- Removed the portal spell due to issues with Respawn Obelisks
- Removed mending, life mending, ceaseless, reforming, infinity, and endless quiver enchantments (still viewable in JEI; unobtainable)
- Removed Simply Swords from chest loot
- Removed hp% attributes and affixes from Apotheosis
- Removed unique bows
- Removed several mods that impacted performance negatively
- Added leaf piles as infectable blocks for the sculk
- Added 3 new canteens that provide buffs and always purified water
- Added a swim speed buff to the Grace effect
- Added a new item repair system using the Mending Table and Mendstone (dropped from bosses and crafted from lapis + new ore)
- Simply Swords added to max-level weaponsmith trades (3 Empowered Remnants per weapon)
- Simply Swords can now drop from bosses with increasing chances per chapter (20% base, +20% per chapter, guaranteed from chapter 5 onward)
- Unified all silver types under Ice and Fire’s silver
- Changed rarity material recipes to match new champion drop tables
- Updated instant health: now regenerates all limbs + heals based on % max health
- Nerfed purified water bottle stack size (64 → 16)
- Nerfed the Annihilation spell damage
- Nerfed the diet stat
- Changed some default options and controls
- Updated vanilla healing and damage effects to be more punishing & rewarding
- Changed Discord Rich Presence to better reflect the modpack
- Overhauled archery & shields: unique arrows replace unique bows
- Villager trades now reset daily or on restock and evolve based on player interaction
- Fixed Ancient Reforging Table recipe being incorrectly saved
- Fixed wrong affix being used for ice dragons
- Fixed chapter command not ticking finished bosses correctly
- Fixed chapters being wiped on death or randomly
- Fixed infinite healing amount for instant health
Systems Updated
Champion Drops
- Updated all drop tables
- Future update: champion tiers will be restricted by dimension
- Tiered drop rates:
- Tier 1: 1–5 common (100%)
- Tier 2: 1–4 uncommon (60%), 2–6 common (40%)
- Tier 3: 1–3 rare (50%), 2–5 uncommon (30%), 3–7 common (20%)
- Tier 4: 1–2 epic (40%), 2–4 rare (35%), 3–6 uncommon (25%)
- Tier 5: 1 mythic (30%), 2–3 epic (40%), 3–5 rare (30%)
Difficulty System
- Replaced autoleveling & multiplayer bosses with a per-player difficulty system
- Difficulty scales with:
- Distance from world spawn
- Current chapter (non-linear scaling; later chapters increase difficulty more)
- Bosses excluded from player-difficulty scaling
- Boss HP now scales dynamically with nearby players and downscales if players leave mid-fight
Progression & Boss List
- Dimensions locked behind chapters:
- Nether: locked until Chapter 1
- End: locked until Chapter 3 (special eyes no longer required)
- Macabre: not locked, but requires materials from Chapter 6 boss
- The boss list was updated, some were moved, other were completely deleted from the required bosses if I found them to be too underwhelming. Don't forget that you currently can run /deicide chapters to see your progression !
Skills
- Removed the Skilltree and the Oblivion Effigy. These will have a comeback in a later version, when they are implemented in a more balanced way
- Dodge & Parry now granted on first world join
World & Gameplay
- Added new season system & localized weather
- Crop growth & temperature vary by season
- Overhauled village generation
- Spawners made more dangerous:
- Now inflict Wither on players
- Summon vengeful spirits (vex-like) when broken
