It's finally here! V3.0 of the modpack/world download updates everything to include all the features present on the server, as well as updating everything to 1.21.1.

INTRODUCING 2 NEW GAMEMODES

  • HARDCORE: Start with a fresh deck and survive as many runs in a row as possible. Once you die, your deck gets deleted and you must start all over again.
  • CLASSIC: Play the game just as the Hermits did! Removes many of the new features, balances, and tweaks we've made to Decked Out, allowing you to enjoy the base DO2 experience just as Tango intended.

INSTANT RESET

  • Tired of waiting and waiting after each run? Tired of all the jankiness caused by tick warp? Worry no more, for the dungeon now resets INSTANTLY, not a second of waiting required. As soon as you hit the reset button, your deck will be returned and the dungeon will be immediately ready for a new run

NEW CARDS

  • A whole new floor has been added to the card shop, adding over a dozen new, unique cards to add to your deck! Includes two new bane cards and a new legendary

THE SHADOW EMPORIUM

  • A new secret shop in the bottom of Level 4 has been added, you'll have to figure out how to unlock it yourself. For now all I'll say is the risk is very much worth the reward

CUSTOMIZATION

  • The starting room has been revamped and a customization GUI has been added to allow you to tweak your game settings to your liking! Along with this comes practice modes, multiplayer, run tags, assists, and many more options

RANDOMIZED RAVAGERS

  • The ravager shuffling system has been tweaked. Randomized ravagers no longer puts ravagers outside of their respective zones, but still will teleport them to a random position in the dungeon. The hermit ravagers options has been removed for being far too easy

RISK

  • A new invisible dungeon mechanic known as Risk has been implemented. Risk increases as you build clank and makes hazard in the dungeon more likely to trigger. Hazard is on a timer in the dungeon, having a small chance to trigger around every 20 seconds. But if you have built a large amount of risk, these chances will increase greatly. This makes it so hazard doors close more and more as you edge closer to max clank, so you better make your runs quick to avoid it! Along with risk, a few changes to hazard itself has been made. At max clank, there is only one path to exit the dungeon. The same is true, but the path will not remain the same every game. You will have to figure out all the different paths in order to safely escape!

HATS

  • The hats that you can purchase from the crown shop are no longer just cosmetic, they now each have a special effect that can assist you as you adventure through the dungeon. But be careful, with each death your hat will lose some durability and eventually break.

TCG

  • We've added a way to play VintageBeef's TCG Hermitcraft Card game to the world and server! The TCG shop is currently non-functional, but all the arenas are ready to play and starter packs are available in the new TCG Control Room on the opposite side of the hall to the dungeon door.

TWEAKS AND QOL

  • We've also made dozens if not hundreds of minor tweaks to the dungeon and citadel, as well as some other new minor features and builds that aren't listed here. You'll have to do some exploring to see it all for yourself
