Dark Booster - A modpack intended to enhance your survival experience.

A lightweight, fabric-based, client-side modpack focused on optimizations, QoL, and enhancements with a dark mode style.

The general idea is to provide an optimized client for your singleplayer worlds and multiplayer servers. This modpack should be completely safe for connecting to servers, everything here is fair and vanilla compatible. It won't heavily affect gameplay, but it will improve your experience playing vanilla Minecraft. Also, as the name says, it's dark-mode themed.

Here were my goals

  • The first and highest priority was optimization, and I picked most of the essentials. This modpack should boost your FPS considerably.
  • Secondly, I wanted to provide a nice selection of quality of life stuff. Things I think should be in vanilla.
  • Third, I added things that simply enhanced the game. You'll notice great sound and better visual stuff here and there.

Core mods

Sodium and things such as EMF, ETF, Zoomify and Iris, to act as a replacement for optifine.

That means it's also shader-ready, preloaded with Complementary Shaders - Reimagined and Complementary Shaders - Unbound.

Sound in general gets a massive upgrade. Sound Physics Remastered, Presence Footsteps and Sounds add another level of immersion to the game. (Playing with headphones is heavily recommended.)

Visuals get a nice upgrade as well with a few mods and resource packs. Nicer Skies, Fresh Animations, and Icons. There's a few smaller tweaks thrown in that work together to make things look a little bit nicer. Oh, and of course Mandala's GUI - Dark mode, my beloved. Enjoy a dark themed GUI improvement.
