After creating my other modpack, and playing it often, I've created a new modpack based on what I thought was most fun about my other modpack. In the end, my favorite part was crafting custom weapons and armor, then using my masterwork katana to kill my way through alien landscapes and hordes of monsters. In CurseEater, I've put many different mods that add mobs for you to kill as you go on your adventures, so you don't get bored of fighting the same things over and over again. This includes Mowzie's Mobs, Fish's Undead Rising, Ice and Fire: Dragons, a more obscure mod called Scape and Run: Parasites, and a number of dimension adding modpacks such as the Aether, Betweenlands, Erebus and Twilight Forest. There are also RogueLike Dungeons to explore in the overworld. In order to make your progress feel even more substantial, the mod LevelUp! Reloaded allows you to use your experience gained in battle to permanently increase your stats, which is important since vanilla enchanting is mostly replaced by Tinker's Constructs Modifers. What shall you use to defeat your enemies and protect your world? Besides building your ultimate Tinker's Tools (including Tinker's SlashBlades) and getting attached to them as they level up, there are also many schools of magic which require lots of research but grant immense power to those knowledgeable in their craft, such as Blood Magic, Thaumcraft, Astral Sorcery, Mahou Tsukai, Botania, Roots, and Embers. To keep the overworld interesting, Biome's o Plenty ensures variety, and Quark changes caves by adding stalagmites and stalactites. Last but not least, to encourage exploration many items of power can only be found in dungeon chests, RogueLike dungeons, Nether Fortresses, or other dungeons like Lich's Towers, etc. This modpack runs much more smoothly than my other modpack, if not only because it lacks Valkyrian Warfare airships. And I added a few fps improvement mods.
