Whats is Applied Energistics 2?

Applied Energistics 2 is a Minecraft Mod which contains a large amount of new content, mostly centered around the concept of using Energy, and the Transformation of Energy in a unique way. most features relate, or are part of the core mechanic, the ME Network.

Draconic Evolution

This is a mod that adds a lot of high tier items such as tools and armor as well as some high tier energy storage and a lot of other random features such as: //TODO Update this darn desription...

Extreme Reactors

This is a port of the 1.7.10 mod Big Reactors, by Erogenous Beef. The name was changed as for Curse request

 

You can build multiblock machines to produce power, be that Redstone Flux or Tesla

 

Giants Reactors to harness the power of the atom or mighty Turbines to turn steam into energy? Why not both?

 

This first release is an almost 1:1 port of the 1.7.10 version and it will be the starting point for the evolution of the mod

Gravestone Mod

This mod adds a gravestone to your minecraft world.

When you die a gravestone will be placed at your death position and the players name is written on it.

Optionally you can get a piece of paper with the necessary informations about your death.

There is also an option to automatically remove this item when you break the gravestone.

When you break the gravestone it will drop the items of your inventory.

If you enable the gamerule keepInventory there will be placed no gravestone.

You can also break the gravestone with silktouch to get it as an item to use it for decoration.

When you rightclick the gravestone the name of the player who died and the death time will be displayed.

The gravestone can be named by simply renaming it in an anvil and then placing it.

 

Waila/HWYLA

Waila (What Am I Looking At) is a UI improvement mod aimed at providing block information directly ingame, without the need of opening an UI.

It provides a small unobtrusive tooltip on top of the screen with informations about the block the player is looking at.

A powerful API is provided so other modders can add their own information relative to their blocks to it.

 

Inventory Tweaks

This client mod allows you to easily manage your inventory, in both single player and multiplayer. It works out of the box, and will make you gain a massive amount of time!

• It automatically replaces your tools as they break, and item stacks once emptied
• It sorts your inventory and your chests in a single click/keystroke
• It provides lots of powerful shortcuts to move items around
• It allows you to customize entirely the way your inventory is sorted, thanks to clever configuration files

Warning: The mod can be blocked by certain servers using plugins such as NoCheatPlus.

This Mod Adds Many Different chests With Many Different Sizes Going From Default To Crystal.

 

Journey Map

Journey is a client+server mod for Forge which maps your Minecraft world in real-time as you explore. You can view the map in a web browser or in-game as a Minimap or full-screen. You Are Also Able To Place Down Markers Too So You Can Explore To The Farthest Parts Of The World And Back.

JEI is an item and recipe viewing mod for Minecraft, built from the ground up for stability and performance.

Morpheus

Morpheus is a server-only mod that adds sleep voting to a forge based server. When a player sleeps, all other players in the same dimension are notified so it is easier to coordinate. Also, you can configure a ratio of players that are required to make it morning (default 50%) messages can be customised in the config and alerts can be turned off if needed.

 

Mouse Tweaks

Mouse Tweaks replaces the standard RMB dragging mechanic, adds two new LMB dragging mechanics and an ability to quickly move items with the scroll wheel. Everything can be enabled and disabled in the configuration file or in Forge's mod options menu.

 

Ore Excavation

Allows players to mine whole veins of ore, cut down whole trees or any other tool based action in one go. Simple easy to understand configs are also provided for mod pack developers such as tool or block black listings, size limits and tick rate.

Storage Drawers

Put your most frequently used items within convenient reach. Storage Drawers borrows ideas from Jabba and Bibliocraft, resulting in a highly functional, compact, and aesthetic storage solution that is meant to complement rather than replace those mods.

Usage

There is no traditional slotted inventory with these containers. Interaction is click-based similar to Jabba. Clicking on one of drawers on front will interact with that drawer.

• Right-Click: Insert full stack in hand into drawer (or partial stack if the drawer fills).
• Double-Right-Click: Insert all compatible stacks in inventory into drawer (or until drawer fills).
• Left-Click: Remove a single item from the drawer.
• Shift+Left-Click: Remove a full stack from the drawer.
• Shift+Right-Click with empty hand: Open a UI to see exact item counts and manage applied upgrades.

Thermal Dynamics

Thermal gets Dynamic! Adds ducts - transportation for Redstone Flux, Fluids, and Items!

Thermal Expansion

It features a tech tree involving multiple machines, balanced and flexible recipes, and is now one of the foundation mods in modded Minecraft gameplay. Since its release, the Redstone Flux power network has become supported by the majority of tech and tech-related mods.

Thermal Foundation

Expanding Minecraft Thermally! This mod is required for the Thermal Series (Thermal Expansion, Thermal Dynamics) and gives modpack makers a way to add resources to their worlds without needing to install all of the tech and other goodies that come with the other mods.

 

 

Tinkers Construct

Tinkers' Construct is a mod about putting tools together in a wide variety of ways, then modifying them until they turn into something else. The tools never disappear and can be named and changed to your heart's desire. Once you make them, they're yours forever. Many different materials can be used to make your tools.

 

Tinkers Levelling

Remember the good old days when you played GTA, used the cheat code for a tank, and then went on and caused mayhem? This mod is like that, except for Tinkers' Construct Tools and the cheatcode takes longer to enter.

 

Gives your Tools XP, allowing them to level up. On levelup an extra modifier is rewarded. You get xp for doing whatever the tool was intended for, so breaking blocks with pickaxes, killing things with swords, etc.

 

Note that swords get XP relative to the damage dealt when the entity is killed, not when the damage is dealt. You only get xp if the mob is killed!

 

Features:

• Set maximum amount of modifiers a new tool has after being built (default 3)
• Awards 1 free modifier per levelup
• Each levelup requires twice the xp than the last
• Currently no upper limit
• Starting XP can be adjusted individually in the configs (because I know you all want basically creative modifiers ;P)
