Createch 2 is a progression-focused survival automation pack built around the feeling of old-school modded Minecraft, but rebuilt with modern systems, deeper world progression, and a much longer factory arc.

The pack begins grounded and physical. TerraFirmaCraft shapes the early game: stone tools, seasons, food, water, shelter, geology, ore discovery, charcoal, primitive metals, and the slow climb from homestead survival into real metallurgy. The world is meant to feel like a place you settle before it becomes a factory.

From there, Create becomes the visible heart of automation. Belts, shafts, depots, presses, mixers, contraptions, trains, and mechanical workshops carry the early and mid-game. Your first machines should feel built, not placed.

Modern Industrialization forms the main industrial tier ladder, with Power Grid acting as the main power backbone where possible. Create and TFMG handle the dirty factory floor: steam, steel, oil, heavy plates, industrial fluids, and yard-scale infrastructure. Mekanism enters later as advanced chemistry, gases, slurries, nuclear support, ore processing depth, and high-end machine infrastructure rather than an instant shortcut around the pack.

The intended journey is:

Stone survival -> homestead -> copper and bronze metallurgy -> steam workshop -> steel industry -> powered factory -> chemical processing -> advanced automation -> nuclear systems -> dimensional logistics -> cosmic industry

Exploration matters, but it is tied into progression. Ores are built around TFC geology and custom placement across dimensions. Mining is not just digging straight down; it becomes surveying, prospecting, expedition planning, and later dimensional resource routing.

Magic exists, but it is not a separate easy mode. Malum is the main magical discovery spine. Other supernatural and magical systems are meant to be discovered through that path and tier-gated like a serious progression modpack, not dumped into the player’s lap on day one. Theurgy, Mystical Agriculture, Occultism, EvilCraft, Vampirism, Werewolves, and other strange systems are treated as discoveries, branches, or tools that must earn their place in the tech tree.

Stargate Journey is integrated as a dangerous transport and mining-dimension system. It is not the final endgame. It is a mid-to-late progression tool for reaching hostile resource zones, moving across the world, and paying homage to classic high-tech modded progression. Expect danger, preparation, and consequences.

Eternal Starlight is part of the late progression arc, used as a major magical/dimensional step before the highest cosmic systems. Space and cosmic mods exist, but they are staged carefully so they do not flatten the rest of the pack.

Combat also grows with the factory. Early survival is harsh and grounded, but late-game threats are not meant to be fought forever with swords. Movement tools, firearms, heavy weapons, dangerous mobs, and hostile dimensions support a more industrial, expedition-based combat style.

Createch 2 still keeps comfort where it helps. JEI, Jade, minimaps, waypoints, inventory tools, building helpers, Farmer’s Delight-style food systems, cozy blocks, and quality-of-life mods are included because the pack is meant to be readable and playable, not hostile for the sake of it.

The balance philosophy is simple:

Malum before broad magic.
Rails and Stargates before effortless logistics.

Comfort without removing progression pressure.
