Changelog - v0.5.3: Recipe Streamlining & Optimization

⚙️ Quality of Life Improvement: Gear Recipe Streamlining

The previously complex Sequenced Assembly recipes for gears, provided by the Create Hand Crafting mod, have been replaced with simpler, more direct Cutting and Item Application recipes to significantly improve early-game manufacturing efficiency and reduce frustration.

The catalyst for this change was a conflict where the Gear Small's Sequenced Assembly recipe overlapped with the narrow wooden track recipe from the Steam n Rail mod, preventing the gear's creation. To resolve this bug and standardize gear production, both gear recipes were converted to simpler methods.

  • The original multi-step Sequential Assembly recipes have been permanently removed.

  • Gears can now be quickly produced using only a Mechanical Saw or simple right-click application on readily available wooden materials.

✨ Mod Updates & Localization

  • Create Hand Crafting: Korean language support has been added.

📜 Quest Adjustments (FTB Quests)

  • Use Block Task Changes: Several existing quests utilizing the "Use Block" task type (provided by the Quests Additions mod) have been reviewed and changed to ensure accurate progression tracking and completion count for players.

  • New Tasks Added: New "Use Block" tasks have been added to relevant quests to better reflect item interaction and block usage objectives.

📦 Server Pack Notes

  • Temporary Server Update: As a dedicated v0.5.3 server pack will not be provided, users maintaining a server based on the v0.5.1 pack must manually update the contents of the kubejs folder and the FTB Quests data folder (config/ftbquests) with the files from the latest v0.5.3 client pack to ensure all recipe, tag, and quest changes are correctly applied.
