What's new

1.1.2: Dragonworks

New: Dragonworks (Create x Ice and Fire)

Dragon parts now run through Create machines, and every machine route yields more than the normal way. Every recipe shows in JEI.

  • Industrial Dragonsteel: 2 iron ingots + 1 dragon blood in a Mechanical Mixer makes 2 Dragonsteel, twice the Dragonforge's rate. Fire and lightning need a superheated Blaze Burner. Ice uses packed ice instead of heat. Lightning also takes a copper ingot.
  • Dragon blood from flesh: 1 dragon flesh + 2 glass bottles makes 2 dragon blood, with the same heat rules. Flesh only drops from a dragon you killed, so blood still means hunting.
  • Dragon fuel for airship thrusters: dragon blood and dragon hearts burn in solid fuel thrusters, and each type flies differently.
    • Fire: steady, strong all-rounder.
    • Ice: less thrust, but lasts far longer. Built for long range.
    • Lightning: overcharge. Huge thrust, burns out fast.
    • Hearts last five times longer than blood. Create Propulsion thrusters get a coloured exhaust to match.
  • Fire Dragon Heart superheats a Blaze Burner ten times longer than a Blaze Cake.
  • Sapphire Ore in Crushing Wheels gives 2 to 3 sapphires, plus XP.
  • Dragon Bones in a Millstone give 6 to 9 bone meal.
  • Dragon ground salvage: wash charred, frozen and lightning-cracked blocks, or ash, with an Encased Fan and water. They break down into flint, charcoal, clay, snowballs, redstone and more. Washing never turns a block into another block.
    • About 1 block in 10 drops a scale from that dragon type.
    • 1 in 100 drops a diamond.
    • Fire dragon ground has a 1 in 1,000 chance to drop Netherite Scrap.

Removed

  • Create: Fire Control. Most of its items had no survival recipes.
  • Mianbao's NewModernWarfare. Only Fire Control needed it.
  • No quests used either mod. Blocks from them will be gone from existing worlds.

Added

  • Simple Backups. Backs up each world every 2 hours and keeps the last 10, up to 10 GB per world. Find them in the simplebackups folder inside your instance folder. Distant Horizons map data is skipped, because the game rebuilds it.

Fixes

  • The crash screen and pack info now show version 1.1.2.

Updating

  • Update from the CurseForge app. Your worlds carry over.
