Conquering Galacticraft [Official]

This modpack is this official modpack which is used in the YouTube series Conquering Galacticraft. This modpack works best in version 1.12.2. It does not work in other version that I know of, and if it does, it would likely be buggy. I recommend using it in 1.12.2 for minimal issues. Mods included are:

• Buildcraft
  • Adds various important tools, such as kinesis pipes (transfers power), fluid pipes, and item transportation pipes. Also adds the quarry, which is important if you don't want to spend literal hours mining for certain materials.
• Galacticraft Legacy
  • Adds the Moon, Mars, and Venus to the game, and you can go to those places with a tier 1, 2, and 3 rocket respectively. If you have only this mod, you do not need a spacesuit.
• JourneyMap
  • Adds a minimap in the top right corner of the screen when playing. You can add waypoints with a hotkey. I personally use "J", but you can use any key.
• AlcatrazCore
  • Library mod (Needed in order for mods to work)
• Applied Energistics 2
  • Adds the ME System and storage, where you can store items and blocks in hard drives so that you don't have stacks of chests in your base. Requires batteries that are also included. Other things such as Spatial Storage, which stores an area of the world into a single item.
• CodeChicken Lib 1.8.+
  • Library mod

• Dynamic Trees
  • Turns saplings into acorns and various other pods. Trees now fall instead of floating when cut down. Trees also have branches now. Also adds potions to alter trees.
• Ender Storage 1.8.+
  • Adds a new type of ender chest and also an ender backpack, where you can color three different spots of wool on the ender chest and designate which chest is which. Useful for interdimensional storage transfer and other uses that have you transporting various items across large distances.
• ExtraPlanets
  • Adds the rest of the Solar System to Galacticraft Legacy. You now require a space suit when going into space. ((Warning: You need 6 stacks of tin ingots to make the tier 1 space suit. Prepare for a large grind for tin, among other things.))
• iChunUtil
  • Library mod.
• Industrial Foregoing
  • This mod adds a lot of new stuff, but this mod is mainly in this pack because of its capability to aid you in collecting and storing more materials if quarries aren't enough. This mod also adds incredibly large storage items, like the Black Hole Unit, which can hold about 2.1 billion (2^31) of any one item. Very useful.

• Inventory Tweaks [1.12 only]
  • Automates sorting various inventories, such as chests, your own inventory, and shulkers. Middle click sorts inventories.
• Iron Backpacks
  • Adds backpacks to the game, crafted with 4 leather, 4 wool, and 1 chest. You can craft up to a diamond backpack, but you cannot store backpacks within backpacks.
• Iron Chests
  • Adds chest upgrades. You can craft up to crystal chests, which can hold much more than a regular chest. Good for quarries.
• Just Enough Items
  • I'm sure you're familiar with this mod, but if you aren't, it allows you to check the recipe of ANY item or block in the game with just left clicking on the target item or block. You can also search for blocks and items with the search bar at the bottom of the menu when opening your inventory or entering any other inventory.
• Mantle
  • Ditto as AlcatrazCore
• Mekanism
  • Mekanism adds various different machines and tools, but this modpack mainly uses it to speed up the progression curve in Applied Energistics 2 with the Enrichment Chamber. The Enrichment Chamber can be used to speed up the process of growing pure certus crystals or pure fluix crystals, which usually take multiple IRL hours.

• MJRLegends Lib
  • Ditto as Mantle
• Morph
  • This mod gives you the ability to morph into mobs you have slain by pressing the bracket keys ("[", "]"), and then pressing enter to confirm your selection. You are also able to gain the abilities of said mobs, depending on if they had any to begin with (i.e., flight, invulnerablility to fire, water breathing, etc.).
• No Tree Punching
  • Removes the ability to mine trees with your hand, and forces the player to make flint tools before being able to cut down trees. Collect plant fibers with a flint knife, which is made with a flint chunk and a stick-- flint chunks can be made by right clicking the top of a block that is like stone with a piece of flint. You can craft plant string with 3 plant fibers.
• OpenBlocks
  • Adds various blocks, the main focus being the tank as for why I added it to this modpack. Tanks are made with 5 glass panes and 4 obsidian, and each tank holds 16 buckets of any liquid. Tanks can combine to hold more liquid, if placed adjacent to each other. You can also fill tanks by right clicking a tank with any liquid with another tank with the same liquid to fill it.
• OpenBlocksLib
  • Ditto as MJRLegends Lib
• Replay Mod (Fabric & Forge)
  • Adds the ability to record one's in game gameplay, and you can look around in a spectator-like fashion, along with the ability to skip around in the recording by clicking the progress bar at the desired time.
• Shadowfacts' Forgelin
  • Language adapter and library provider; necessary for other mods to work correctly
• Simple Generators
  • Simple Generators is a mod that adds six different generators, and the combustion generator is the easiest to make. What it does is it burns combustable items (coal, logs, planks, etc.), and turns it into power. Used for powering both AE2 machines and Mekanism machines.
• Sky Orchards {{UNUSED}}
  • Adds Ore Trees. This is unused, as they do not spawn naturally, nor do they provide any useful materials.
• Smooth Zoom
  • By pressing the hotkey R, you can zoom in. To zoom out, press C. Optifine-like in its zooming.
• Tesla Core Lib
  • Library mod.
• Tinkers Construct
  • Adds seared bricks and block types. Smelt grout, crafted using sand, gravel, and clay, to make seared bricks, and then craft that into blocks like the Smeltery Controller, Smeltery Tank, and other. Smelteries return double of what is given when melting ores. You can also reclaim metals from tools, but they have to be repaired to full durability in order to do so.
• ValkyrieLib
  • Library mod.
• WIT (What Is That)
  • Puts a small label at the top of the screen displaying what block you are looking at. Does not work for some blocks, said blocks usually not being full blocks.

This modpack should provide a long and fun experience playing Minecraft, especially if you like grinding for materials. This modpack requires a LOT of grinding, so be prepared for that. You can explore pretty much any planet in the Solar System if you wish, or you can even use Spatial Storage from AE2 to take a part of one planet, and then transport it to another planet.
